Chris Mihm has heel surgery

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Los Angeles Lakers center Chris Mihm underwent surgery Wednesday to remove a screw from his right heel.

His recovery time is expected to be about six weeks, the team said.

Mihm has been sidelined with right ankle problems for several weeks. He’s averaged 4.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 19 games this season.
