Ever wondered what it was like to run an NBA team? From making draft picks to trades to signing free agents?

Think you can do a better job than Mitch Kupchak?

Welcome to the inaugural ClubLakers.com GM Challenge, where you will have full control over a real NBA franchise! From hiring a new coach to making player personnel decisions, you will be the man at the top of the franchise responsible for making the moves necessary to build a championship contender, and everything has to follow the guidelines of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

After 30 members have signed up, they will be randomly assigned a team that they will be the General Manager of. Could be the Lakers .. could be the Knicks .. Are you up for the challenge?

After all the moves are made and the rosters have been shaken down, the staff will vote on the team with the most successful offseason. Prizes (courtesy of Kob3eight), including a $25 Best Buy gift card, a $30 Champs Sports gift card, and a $17 Fandago gift card, will be given out to the top three teams and their respective GMs. First place gets their choice of the three, second place chooses from what’s left and third place .. well .. you get it.
