Granted you can't make all of your free throws, but Puke and Gasol had wide open gimmes...

we gave this game away. fish hit huge shot after huge shot, but luke decided he was taking his time on that layup, and we missed so many free throws that i wanted to rip someone's head off.

Exactly. Lakers have played poor in Utah +the bad officiating and they were still in a position to win both games. The lakers have to build on this fact and take care of business. |

Kobe missed layups, free throws, got his shot blocked and air balled a 3 because he hurt his back. Most players wouldn't have even continued after the initial injury.

First off lemme say that i'm a huge huge huge kobe fan
But i can't give him the benefit of the doubt here. How can a back injury hurt your brain? Remember he was on his knees in the 4th and then he started becoming the decoy and passed it off to Fish and Odom for wide open 3s?
why didn't we see more of that in OT?
