Any suggestions on where to purchase advance IMAX TDK tickets for the first Sunday it's out? Fandango has tickets for the premiere on Thursday night and Friday but so far nothing for the weekend. I'm trying to avoid waiting until all of the shows are sold out, which would mean I'd have to wait until the next weekend to see the movie. _________________

go to the imax screen, and get the tickets from them directly, they will be able to print them out. _________________ Some Men Just Want To Watch The World Burn...

One other thing I wanted to add about this trailer is something I've said at least 100 times by now...I cannot wait for the interrogation room scene. This trailer shows a little more of it. _________________

Seriously, all those monologues of Joker from trailers are from that interrogation scene. A lot of notable quotes that set up the themes in the movie are going to come from that scene. I can't wait _________________ http://youtube.com/watch?v=WLZ3uDDAP0c

The 3 trailers that will be shown will be:

| Coming Soon.net: Instead, what you can expect are the first trailers for Warner Bros.' Terminator Salvation (May 22, 2009), which of course also stars Christian Bale, Zack Snyder's graphic novel adaptation Watchmen (Mar. 6, 2009), and the Ridley Scott-directed thriller Body of Lies (Oct. 10), with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. |

Most likely just snapshots from a phone cam. No video yet I don't think. |

If it has, this is one movie you don't want to watch on some poor quality cam video. The wait is well worth it to see the movie on an IMAX screen to get the full experience.
Maddocks15 - Thanks for the advice, I was trying to avoid driving down and picking the tickets up in person but I can see it's the best option. Hopefully the showtimes I'm looking for are not sold out yet, I wouldn't think they are but this is the IMAX version on opening weekend so you never know. _________________

Possibly other spoilers? Try major plot spoilers. I was just looking for a Twoface pic, I didn't know there would be a ton of other pics that spoil the plot.

6 AM showings. That's insane.
| Quote: |
New York Times: “The Dark Knight” just spilled over into early morning.
In a frenzy, fans have bought so many late-night tickets for the July 18 opening of the next Batman movie that theaters in places like San Diego, Chicago, and even Eagan, Minn., are scheduling 6 a.m. screenings for those who can’t get in at midnight or 3 in the morning.
Movie theaters have sometimes opened their doors at odd hours for their most highly anticipated films, say, an entry in the “Star Wars” series, and midnight shows have become part of the summer blockbuster ritual.
But all-night sellouts far in advance of an opening have come only with the near ubiquity of online ticket sales. Fandango.com, for instance, reports well over 1,500 wee-hour showings for “The Dark Knight” in theaters that typically do not open their doors before about 10 a.m.
About 38 percent of ticket buyers polled by Fandango said in a recent survey that they intended to take some or all of July 18 off to see “The Dark Knight.”
Viewers seeking Imax screenings may have to wait. All of the first week’s showings at Lincoln Square are sold out, except for some 6 a.m. screenings, Whit Clay, an Imax spokesman, said. |

I almost clicked on that link after debating if I wanted to see two face or keep it a surprise. Chicano's comment right after it really hinted at major plot spoilers so I stayed away! I think Im a stay away from this thread as much as I can just a bit over a week left! |

I just got my Batman Begins blu-ray in the mail! Begins looks great, seriously deep blacks, sharp as you'd expect. The Dark Knight prologue though, that looks FANTASTIC. The sharp glass of the bank at the start, the colors on the clown masks, every wrinkle in the Joker's outfit, his greasy hair whipping around, it's just incredible, I'm already salivating at the thought of the whole movie on BR. _________________ Weezy's Weemens
