Oh hey it's Thursday.
Some of you guys must be sexcited for tonight.
I just have a random question.
If I were to see this on IMAX...does IMAX have like assigned seats when you buy a ticket or can you just sit anywhere?
Thanks in advance. |

You can sit anywhere you want. Stadium is much larger too, but I'd go a little earlier anyway cuz imax it's not one of those screens you want to look up at all the way in the front _________________ http://youtube.com/watch?v=WLZ3uDDAP0c

Review: 'Dark Knight' a stunning film
# Story Summary
# CNN.com reviewer: "Dark Knight" is an exceptional follow-up to "Batman Begins"
# Heath Ledger is brilliant as the Joker in Oscar-worthy performance, reviewer says
# Film pits Batman against the Joker, who's come to wreak chaos
SPOILERS ?
| Quote: |
(CNN) -- According to a Russian proverb, God makes the priests. Jesters come from the devil.
Heath Ledger dominates as the Joker in "The Dark Knight" in a performance already garnering raves.
You won't have any trouble believing that aphorism when you see Heath Ledger's mesmerizing performance as the Joker in "The Dark Knight," Christopher Nolan's hotly anticipated and often brilliantly executed follow-up to "Batman Begins."
His face caked in cracked white greasepaint, his smile a grotesque red lipstick scar, kohl rimming his eyes, the Joker is a cruel kind of clown, the kind that is only interested in the last laugh.
Slouched in his purple suit, Ledger gives him a lopsided shuffle, a permanently craning neck and an insinuating, deceptively neighborly voice. But there's something reptilian about the way his tongue flicks through his pursed lips like a pickpocket. He's hungry for trouble, a maniac for mayhem -- and in Gotham City, where crime is still running wild, he can make himself right at home. |
Very great article/review read. FULL read inside link. |

The main theater in Fresno had 14 showings at midnight. And they all sold out an hour ago

I wonder where it will end up in their ranking.
Batman Begins has a 8.3
Movies it's been compared to:
Godfather: Part II -- 9.0
Empire Strikes Back -- 8.8
Heat -- 8.1 _________________

I don't know which is funnier how fake the shark is (Batman doesn't bleed or lose a limb) or the fact that no one was flying the helicopter. _________________

Superhero Hype: It's opening in the most North American theaters ever! From The Hollywood Reporter:
The film's more than 4,366 domestic playdates is a record, surpassing the 4,362 theaters for May 2007's bow of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End." Double- and triple-screening at many venues means "Dark Knight" will play on 9,200 screens in the U.S. and Canada.
Its engagements include 94 Imax venues -- Nolan shot long segments using Imax-format cameras -- and most of those giant-screen auditoriums were sold out by midweek. A Warners exec estimated that Imax presales totaled $3.5 million, with advance ticketing for other venues adding considerably to that total. |
