How the hell are 30+ people gonna miss a dude dressed up in a big black Batman suit. No matter how quick or sneaky he is, you can't miss it. |
I think the panic room leads to another exit, my guess is that he came from somewhere above the room.
But that's some detailed nitpicking there, I know it's suppose to be a "realistic" comic book movie, but still. |

plus, everyone's attention was on rachel and the joker anyways, probably making it even easier for batman to just seemingly pop out of nowhere
anyone else kinda angry that they casted maggie for rachel though? she is pretty hard on the eyes and it kinda took away from the movie when the joker was like "how beautiful you are!" i kinda snickered a lot |

I don't think she's ugly, but she's not pretty. I think she has a certain charm to her, maybe it's because of the movie Secretary. |

Considering how well they pulled off The Joker, I'd be interested in The Penguin, Riddler or maybe Black Mask. Although I doubt that'll happen. _________________

I'd love Black Mask, I don't think Penguin or Riddler is going to happen though because of previous statements by Nolan.
I would love to see Nolan's take on Penguin. |

Am I the only one that feel Joker and Batman's script must have been only 2 to three pages long? I mean the movie was like 2 hours long and we probably got like 30 minutes of joker. _________________ Mitch No More Eruo Softs and Chimp IQs. |

okay I can eliminate right off.
Catwoman
Deacon blackfire
zsaza'
mr.whisper
Dr.hugo strange
might happen but, doubt it.
Black mask
more likely
Penguin (use to be head of crime boss)
Riddler probaly the most likely as he can be as crazy as joker just not as killing.
Not on the list but, Bane as well. _________________ Strikemode14 is the greatest.

Black Mask and Zsasz sound like the most realistic options for Nolan's franchise.
Next: Riddler and Penguin.
But they said that they want to use new characters, making the latter two not that likely. Plus they used a lot of Riddler's material with the Joker. It wouldn't be impossible, but makes it a bit tougher to come up with fresh material for him.
My first two options are still Riddler + Harley Quinn and then you can add one of the lesser known villains from that list like a Black Mask. They key would be to have villains not all after the same thing and that keep Batman busy on different fronts.
Gotham + 3 baddies is more than enough material for another quality 2 1/2 hours. _________________

Haven't read alot of him in the comics so he could be better there but, just looking at the animated series he doesn't seem like a villian who could be a major villian in a movie. _________________ Strikemode14 is the greatest.

I don't read any comics so I don't know much about the Batman universe other than the movies but from that article, Black Mask seems pretty cool. _________________

| Quote: |
| Character's potential for realistic portrayal: The Penguin is another character that would translate fairly easily into film. He seems to favor formal clothing, but given his physical attributes, masking his insecurities with feigned affluence seems natural. At one time the Penguin was rumored to be cast in The Dark Knight as a British arms dealer, which lends further credence to the idea that he could be done realistically. |
if they use Penguin in that way, I think tthey could also add Deadshot , it would also go well withe the story of the cops chasing Batman because Deadshot initially tried to be a crime-fighter in Gotham
| Quote: |
Within the DC Comics universe, Deadshot is often a hired assassin, regularly boasting to "never miss." He is capable of using a large variety of weapons, but prefers using a pair of silenced, wrist-mounted guns. He initially appeared in Gotham City as a new crimefighter, but was revealed to be an enemy of Batman when he attempted to replace the Dark Knight. He was sent to jail when Batman and Commissioner Gordon publicly exposed his plot to become the king of Gotham's underworld.
|
I don't know much about Batman comics ( I only know the cartoons well)
but based on what I saw on the Gotham Knight , Deadshot could be used in a realistic setting, and woulc provide lots of action based on his variety of weapons . could make great action scenes |

Are you going to the Edwards or AMC?
I saw Iron Man at the Edwards on the imax screen. The best seat should be about the 4th or 3rd to the last row, its gives a perfect top-bottom view _________________ TONY STARK WAS ABLE TO BUILD THIS IN A CAVE......WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!!! - Obadiah Stane

Curious as to why?
He's already been somewhat introduced, is incredibly dark, creepy, and realistic. _________________

simply put alot of these films don't have vilians who aren't mainstream and can be recognize instantly.
Really out of all the batman, superman, FF, Spiderman, X-men etc really the only villian who a person might not recongize instantly would be lady deathstrike from x-2, Bullseye from DD, and Sandman from spiderman 3 that's about it and zsaza is less recongizable then all of them by far. _________________ Strikemode14 is the greatest.

But strike, isn't this Batman franchise kind of breaking trends and ideas of what a superhero or comic book movie has to be? Not that they haven't used popular villains only, but if a franchise could pull off a lesser known but cool villain I think it's this one. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

To be honest, I expected that comment from you, and I know you know what I'm talking about. This Batman franchise is as based in reality as any superhero movie. No super powers, villains that are just crazies, also no super powers, a cast of A list actors, deals with serious and dark issues. It's not cartoony to me, and that's what comic book movies were up until this point. I don't want to start a debate about how I'm wrong with the great trodgers, I was simply saying why I think a lesser known villain would work just fine. _________________ Weezy's Weemens
