He stepped on Lamars foot I think, and his knee was put in a slightly awkward position, it looked like he twisted it. Hopefully its just a sprain, but he was in pain out there and couldn't even walk on it _________________ http://youtube.com/watch?v=WLZ3uDDAP0c

He landed on Lamar's foot (as it seems) fell to the ground and grabbed his knee immediatley. He looked like he was in quite a bit of pain, and was helped on the court with no pressure put on the leg. |

Usually the one's that look like nothing happened are the worst one's. Unfortunately, I would not be in the least bit suprised to hear the dreaded words "torn ACL". Sorry for my pessimism, but it looks like one of those injuries to me. Pray for a sprain Laker Nation. _________________

You can play with those with a brace. ACL/PCL need surgery. _________________ RIP Chick Hearn.

Well its better than an ACL, MCL take less time to heal and its not season ending.
ACL is takes a year to year and half to heal and is season ending.
I don't have the game on tv, was is that bad guys?
If you what you guys said was true and he couldn't put weight on the leg, then its bad... |

| Hoping it's just a sprain, MRI 2morow, Drew's in a great deal of pain. Everyone hoping it's just a sprain, my guess would be he's out a couple of weeks if it's a sprain, still hoping and praying for the best... |

If Drew is out any length of time, we will really need to solidify our roster with another big, I hope Laker FO considers this since our roster is at 14, and we're saddled with injuries...
-Another great laker season... |

GOD DAMNIT WHY?!?!?!!?!?!!?
Why can't we just have a healthy season? This is why I refuse to get excited when we start doing well you just know it's gonna all fall apart again. We look like a different team after that injury, guys are down, energy sucked out of the building and Kwame in the middle. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

X-rays are negative - that just means he didn't break anything.
But Andrew is in a lot of pain, they are "hoping" for a sprain. To me it seems like a MCL or ACL at the very least.
Odom had a moderate MCL last season, it wasn't this bad.
Severe MCL or ACL is my guess right now. Severe MCL is about 2-3 months. ACL he's gone for the season, for sure.
Don't see how anyone can think this is a light injury. Looked horrible, feels horrible ... |

It didn't look bad at all...I mean the fall. The way he acted made it look really bad. He landed on lamar's foot...but with all the weight he has on his body, you can't tell how much damage was done. _________________ Kobe Byant has brought the Lakers three championships, 4 Finals in 5 years, carried an absolutely pathetic team to the playoffs in the loaded Western Conference twice and almost upset the so-called MVP, and has given us countless thrills and memories. If you are not a Kobe fan, then you are not a Laker fan, period. |
