You can usually walk off a sprain.

If it was a sprain Vitti would have given us the 'assuring' report because you can usually tell if the ligament is intact by doing a quick diagonistic.

I would know, I have been there.

Didn't Duncan have a a knee injury earlier this season that looked horrible, but he was back like 5 games later? Hopefully it's something like that.

X ray is just bones. MRI scan muscles by layers to see any tears.

The fact he is in a great deal of pain is bad.

Honestly... and if Lamar wasn't on this team we wouldn't even be talking about Bynum's injury because it wouldn't have happened. The dude is a freakin' curse.

Not only is this bad for this season but I can imagine the pain of injury will haunt Drew mentally and he won;t be as aggressive and just become kwame.

This is bad on so many levels that it's almost unspeakable.

Knee injuries have RUINED careers both physically AND mentally.

We'll see how wide Kobe's shoulders really are because he's going to have to absolutely carry us now...

I drive to a friends house real quick to pick something up and as I'm driving I hear the devastating news on the radio. I didn't see it, how bad was it? He seems to be a warrior...so I'm sure he'll play through some pain. Hopefully it's a moderate sprain and hopefully he'll be back before our road trip.

Don't know what's worse: No Bynum on Thursday or Kwame in the middle.

Fortunately for us we don't get to choose what is worse between those two Juano; we get both.

im scared for the lakers right now...worst case scenario: bynum is injured for the season, we rely on kwame and odom, we suck, we lose in the first round, and kobe asks for a trade

with this teams luck, i dont even wanna think about it...

This is just wrong. I feel sick.

Is now time to kick the crap out of the guy who started the "Bynum isn't the type of player to be injured" thread?

Hopefully? Umm...hopefully he's day-to-day. Hopefully he wakes up and feels fine. Nearing worst case scenario he's back in 4-6 weeks.

If it's three weeks, then he should take it till the All-Star break, that will give him 5 weeks to heal.
