bah, idc

we only signed the dude for 3 years. Its not like he will be a burdern for too long. And besides, we have alot of young pitching talent anyway, so it doesnt hurt too much.

I'm thinking Chan Ho Park might get the 5th spot if he continues to pitch well... plus, I like that fact that if he beans somebody and the batter charges the mound, he's gonna get a roundhouse kick to the face from Park. Let's not rush Kershaw, we've got enough arms, not to mention possibly Schmidt by the middle of the year.

Schmidt is done bang

I pray to god he isn't. But damn, the writing seems to be on the wall....................

I hate the fact that Giants fans are laughing at us for this signing.............

They can laugh all they want at Schmidt while we're crying with laughter about the whole Giants team.

^^^^^

Even the best bunters pop it up. Pierre is one of the best bunters in the game. I remember laughing my butt off at the Yanks every time Pierre got on via bunt in that world series.

Still don't know why Zito continuously gets the opening day nod when he's never succeeded. I hate the fact that our success this year is highly dependant on how he performs, but you have to live with it. The ony positive right now is that Cain, Lincecum and Lowry (when healthy) follow him in the rotation.

Anyway, today's game was interesting and we as fans got a peak of what's in store this season. Overall well played game from LA, and I won't deny the fact that they've got a very talented team that has the capability of doing some things this season. I hate to watch it while my team is in a rebuilding proccess, but once again - you've got to live with it.

Look forward to the future meetings and hopefully we can have some civil discussions this season. I'll be sure to stop by Club-Dodgers and chime in every once in awhile. bow

That's a fine rotation but it really is hard to find a positive if you're a Giants fan right now. The good pitching rotation won't be doing much when there's no offensive help. Guys like Cain are going to perform great and their W/L line will suffer. Rebuilding can indeed be tough though, good for you for sticking in there mass, you are a credit to your teams fan base jam2
