Still waiting for the call about Andrew Bynum’s knee. Either the news isn’t good or his agent got caught up in making a trade with another client.
We’ll let you know as soon as we know. |

Don't think it's a trade. Lee only represents 4 players -- Hassan Adams, Drew, Ariza, and Brandon Bowman. |
now i really dont like what the blog just said |
That was me. I was getting impatient and was wondering why they would be in contact with Bynums agent and not the times.
Great news on Bynum . _________________ http://www.andrewbynum.com/andrewbynum/CMS/Gallery/ab_pg9_th.jpg |

if we get ron artest maybe
without consistent play from the SF position we can win 3 titles but not consecutively
its our achilles heal having no creators but kobe
now maggette, artest, and nocioni all solve that issue
also are we sure in a year people in a year that farmar can step up and become a starting PG are we positive |

Mags dunno about that. One way street.......the idea is to deny penetration amd Mags would allow more penetration than a cheap ho
Artest just flew over the kookoos nest. Needs the ball to score and stops the offense
Noc now thats a nice thought.......................but its pipe _________________ And A child shall lead us......... Andrew Bynum |

what he needs to work on is strengthening that knee more than anything.
more than learning a new post move, passing, conditioning. last offseason, he focused too much on upper body from what i saw. he needs to work his legs so he doesn't get injured again. and yes, it's a fact. they brought it up right when he got injured. they didn't work is leg strength much so it was prone to being injured. i hope bynum's trainer + lakers org knows this. _________________ BYNUM BRIGAAADDEEEEE!!!

OC Register: Andrew Bynum, who has been out for nearly seven months because of a knee injury, received medical clearance Thursday, putting his comeback on track.
Bynum saw doctors in New York in the morning and was given the green light to start conditioning, his agent, David Lee, said.
Lee reported Bynum doesn't have pain or swelling in the knee and doctors told him there was no need for follow-up visits. The 7-foot center will stay in the New York area for another two weeks to continue his rehabilitation then head to Atlanta, where he will work with his trainer, Sean Zarzana.
"The knee looks wonderful and we are anticipating that within a short period of time, he will start training," Lee said. "The doctors told him the knee was doing better than expected." |

| This is awesome news because the doctor said the knee was doing better than he expected. I bet he is hungry to join the team and start the season. It can't come quick enough. |

I would have been surprised with any other result.
I'd like to know if Bynum will be concentrating on the same things as last summer, or just rehabing or something new. _________________ Sweet Daddy Barnstable's Bad A** Broads:

I wish we could get confirmation about this from someone other than his agent. He's clearly going to exaggerate how well Bynum is doing with contract negotations on the horizon. _________________ Kobe Byant has brought the Lakers three championships, 4 Finals in 5 years, carried an absolutely pathetic team to the playoffs in the loaded Western Conference twice and almost upset the so-called MVP, and has given us countless thrills and memories. He was prone to the injury because his knee is pointed inwards. It's normally an injury that girls have because of their pelvis. Thre is no way his athleticism jumped up the way he did without major work on his legs. _________________ Kobe Byant has brought the Lakers three championships, 4 Finals in 5 years, carried an absolutely pathetic team to the playoffs in the loaded Western Conference twice and almost upset the so-called MVP, and has given us countless thrills and memories. i'm not saying he didn't work on his legs, i'm saying he didn't really focus on strengthening his legs so that he wouldn't get injured. there's two different logics here, training for stability and training for power. obviously it was power, and i think he really didn't think much, or knew, about his knee pointing inward. so now, his concentration must solely be the stability of that knee, for the longevity of his career. _________________ BYNUM BRIGAAADDEEEEE!!!

UPDATE 7-03 #3: OC Register Bynum Report is in.......GOOD NEWS!!!!
Andrew Bynum did indeed receive medical clearance from doctors Thursday and will begin training in earnest by mid-July. His agent, David Lee, said the Lakers center did not have any pain or swelling in his surgically repaired left knee and will be ready to go by training camp in October.
http://lakers.freedomblogging.com/ |
CONVENIENT TIMING! JUST IN TIME TO DEMAND A MAX CONTRACT EXTENSION. TOOK LONG ENOUGH TO AVOID JEOPARDIZING BYNUM'S PERCEIVED VALUE EVEN IF IT COST THE LAKERS A CHAMPIONSHIP!!
IT IS OBVIOUS WHY BYNUM'S AGENT ONLY HAS THREE OTHER NBA CLIENTS, WHO ALL HAPPEN TO BE NON-SUPER STAR STATUS PLAYERS.
NOW THAT BYNUM HAS BEEN "CLEARED" BY HIS DOCTORS, LOCK THIS ANNOYING AND REDUNDANT THREAD!!!

What are you talking about? He was cleared by the doctors, not his agent. _________________
