Kobe might play in this game. However, it will be a short 5-7 minutes according to Phil Jackson...

i think if Kobe plays and looks like hes having a hard time he'll only be in 5 mins but if he looks comfortable with good chemistry then he'll prolly be in there more

Yes. I just believe Phil wants him in the best shape he possibly can be before putting him out there on the court because he knows Kobe isn't in the best shape of his life.

I agree, I think if Kobe does well he'll play a little more time around 10 minutes. If he does play, I doubt he'll stay in longer than what Phil said. It makes sense.

I also wonder if Shaq is playing tommorow?

Kobe NEEDS to get himself and play... I dont care if it's for 5 minutes, I just wanna see him on the floor so I can have confidence once again in his game. I dont wanna expect too much outta him, cuz last season he was unbelievable! Kobe will take it one minute at a time. If Kobe plays, I hope he comes off the bench. Unless he's ready for that starting role!

Stoudemire is out for the Suns due to a funeral.

It would be nice if Shaq got some run so the newcomers could get used to playing with him prior to the season's start. Seems we go through this every season.

Still, it's nice having a solid point guard now, eh? Makes it easier on everyone. Shaq could indeed play until 40 with GP running the offense.

Yep...Stoudemire is out of the game....really got bored seeing him dunk against no defense with the Lakers last game...now he's gone, and Kobe may play some and inspire the team to winning games, I think the Lakers have an easy chance. They should watch out for Leandro Barbosa, though. That man, Jake Voskuhl, keeps getting fouled...what a loser. Shaq is NOT going to play, but with Kobe's presence, things should be easier to handle.

Lakers lead 44-42 after a sloppy turn at the end of the half--LUKE you've got to hit those 4 foot jumpers!

Is Kobe even there, why can't he sit on the bench like the rest of the team?

Chick, Devean shot 5-8 from the field.....he didn't look like he made any shots at all...that guy airballed a couple and made some very sloppy plays in the half-court sets...his handles aren't too good either, and it looked like he needed a DUNK all to get fired up...LOL....on the contrary I like what I see in K., 6-9 from the field and those mad hops and creates his own shot over Penny Hardaway...that guy can shoot. Casey Jacobsen was attacking the basket like hell...never knew he had that in him. Bryon Russell had 5 steals, I REPEAT, 5 steals...a great defensive asset...the Lakers have really improved in D, Joe Johnson and Hardaway shot poorly.....Pargo was 2-11 but had several nice passes, and Pelle and Medvedenko were the anticipators of hard-nosed explosive dunks...old skoo...man, this game was awesome.

Pargo needs to stop shooting, and rush needs to shoot more...

the game was great, pelle and chenowith were solid, they still have a chancce, cuz sampson hasnt been as impressive as i thto he'd be....
