Unbelievable game.

The whole team played with a sense of urgency and with defensive intensity.

If we can maintain this kind of defensive intensity for the season, we can hopefully make it past the first round for a change. We will defitnitely improve on the last 2 years.

If it wasn't for offensive miscues, we would have won against Houston, but that will happen. Our defense is what's going to make us competitive. The coaching staff must keep stressing defense for the season if we want to have any chance at success.

great great game, a solid win that tasted extra sweet against the Suns. I loved seeing Walton nutmeg Marion on the pass to Kobe, play of the game right there.

just hope the guys don't get too high on the wins just as they shouldn't too lows on the losses, just keep it steady and consistent with improvement each game. the team shot 56% from the field tonight, that's not a sustainable FG%, but still would've only trimmed off about 10 points from a 21 point blowout...

Our defense against Houston was really good, and it was even better tonight. That is what is going to win games for us. We have to keep up the defensive intensity all around.

Our offense will continue to be a problem so long as Phil keeps experimenting with these lineups. Phoenix has a solid 8-9 man rotation that they never deviate from, Phil needs to figure this out "sooner rather than later".

I definitely didn't expect a win, especially in this style. Man, we were on fire. Great great game. And DAntoni getting pissed at the end was hilarious, I like how PJ told him to sit his arse down. man10

By the way, did anyone say "Nice shot Kobe!" on Javaris' reverse circus shot in the second quarter?

I swear I thought it was Kobe until I replayed it and realized it was JC. man4

Quite frankly I never seen the Lakers dominate in rebounds, defense and play like champions since Phil started 3 years ago.. About time..

THis game reminds me of when the Suns came to L.A 2 years ago season opener and Suns dominated every possession.

We basically Triagelized the Suns.

I was stoked about the win until I found out that the Suns were sleep deprived. The next game against Utah will be a better indicator about how the Lakers play together.

When KG got traded to the Celtics, I called, "BS," on every comment about the East being easy. The Celtics are now the team to beat in the East. Their only weakness is the 82 game grind on KG, Pierce, and Allen, who will have to play practically every possible minute to cover for the lack of a bench.

On a side note, if i hear those commentators say 'glad to own the 3 point zone' one more time ill vomit... that will be so annoying for suns fans all year man10

Bench stepped up big last night. I hope they can at least do that on a consistent basis. Radmanovic surprised everyone and their mother with his performance. If there's one way to beat the Suns - it's to do it collectively as a team with everyone chipping in, we had that.

Where is SAS? DIdn't he predict a Suns comeback at halftime? I was hoping we could give them their worst home loss in franchise history, but this is good.

Please don't compare this crap to last year. The biggest loss they had last year in the crap start was by 8. This is embarrassing and beyond troubling. Nash looks like **** and admitted that he isn't that interested. Well then sit his tired [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. i dont understand why kobe wants to leave. the lakers have a pretty good team and are only getting better with bynum and farmar. its taken awhile but it seems they are moving in the right direction finally.

No way this team wins more than 54 games this year. NO FREAKING WAY

i gotta tell you, the sooner the Lakers trade Kobe, the better - with Odom and shooters like Fish and Vlad, they should be MUCH more formidable then they were last year.

Thats e'ffing awsome.
