Get real. It is the 11th game of the season. When Kobe took over last season it was to make a playoff push as well as to offset all of the injuries.
He took over to allow guys to heal and then make their supposed push in the playoffs! _________________ "Why can't America realize that falling in love with Kobe doesn't mean breaking up with Michael?" Rick Reilly

1st quarter Perk learns the hook shot as per announcers, by the 4th, because of weak D, he's mastered it! j/k
but seriously, it seems like every game some scrub on the other team gets a career high! uuugggh _________________

very interesting suggestion...
luke plays better starting, and odom can ball up the 2nd unit playres...
but this won't ever happen....just like coaching staff wont ever tell odom to take less 3s, or even the whole laker team in genearl. |

I think he's great and appreciate what he's done for this team so far. For people to label him as the game's best player, you gotta expect him to step up. Good game for Kobe, he just didn't step it up a notch. |

ithink its more than just hate....pure bias, and bad announcers.
on an inbound pass, rondo pushes off farmar and he falls
the announcers say if this game was in LA they wouldve blown the whistle.
can announcing get worse than this? this is just one example that comes from the top of my head too...
to shed some light, the lakers didnt play too bad considering all the outcomes:
odom didnt show up
bynum foul trouble
perkins got 21 (won't happen again)
poor officiating
still didnt lose by 20ish like most teams have... |

It's his right to verbally fellate Andrew Bynum. It just so happens Kwame has a significant impact on the game and Bynum doesn't at this point, but Bynum would work Kwame all day one on one. But this isn't a 1 on 1 game. _________________

So glad we got Ariza so he can sit on the end of the bench during garbage time. Good move by the FO. Need to keep that pine warmed at all times. _________________

The spurs are a better team than the Celtics and Kwame wasn't the reason we lost to the Spurs. TD didn't do much that game, what killed us was leaving the 3 pt shooters wide open all game long against the spurs.
Tonight we got killed inside and with Kwame in there theres no way we get abused the way we did. Plus with Kwame in the game we have Bynum playing against the 2nd unit and Mihm doesn't play as much. Having Kwame would've made a HUGE difference. _________________ RIP Daniel RIP Ana RIP Tom

... The FO trades for Ariza but yet doesn't put him in even just for defensive purposes.. He could have guarded Piece Kobe on Allen.. Then it would have only left KG to be guarding and rony or LO can do that..
wtf is the point in having him if we have to wait for him to be 100 % tri trained.... |

Made a nice run in the 4th, that forced 3 by Kobe when we had it to within 9 was questionable, but we got outplayed and the poor officiating certainly didn't help.
Hopefully we can regroup and get a W on Sunday. _________________ I drank a fifth of vodka, dare me to drive?

If we win here, it will make up for the Buck's loss because essentially we should have won that game and lose here.
I see 2 possible scenarios here:
LA wins somehow.
Or we get run off the floor
I can visualize it in my head right now, all the Celtic fans going crazy because Ray Allen hits a 3 that puts them up by 20. Phil calls a timeout and everyone on CL is throwing a fit.
OR somehow we can hang in there and beat them in the 4th, winning by a solid 7-9 points. |
You have no idea how close this was to happening.
We were down by 17 at one point and someone kicked the ball out to Ray Allen. He pulled up for a 3 but he missed. |

i wa reay expecting a W for this game. it was alright. but dayyyyyum are the Celts beasts. hahah.. theyre so killer. Celtics are unstoppable.
we made a nice run in the 4th Q. too bad the time was a real factor.
officials were kinda bad.
oh well, better luck next time. _________________ "Fix your hair Sasha. Gotta look pretty now" - Stu Lantz

I was at the game. It was a very different environment this season than last year. Barely any L.A. fans there this year, last season there was a ton (and that's why the MVP chants happened). _________________
