Ahh it's finally here!

Should be a good one for sure.

Easily the game I've been most anticipating personally all year so far..

GO LAKERS! let's be the first to win in boston so far this season.

If we win here, it will make up for the Buck's loss because essentially we should have won that game and lose here.

I see 2 possible scenarios here:

LA wins somehow.

Or we get run off the floor

I can visualize it in my head right now, all the Celtic fans going crazy because Ray Allen hits a 3 that puts them up by 20. Phil calls a timeout and everyone on CL is throwing a fit.

OR somehow we can hang in there and beat them in the 4th, winning by a solid 7-9 points.

We got this! Lakers will atone for today's poor game. All will be happy again in CL land.

You guys think Ariza will get some run? You figure he'll get a practice under his belt on thursday.

its gonna be an high scoring affair but our second unit will bust the game wide open at the end of 3rd/beginnning of 4th quarter to seal the deal for the Lakers

Lakers 110 Celtics 98

Kobe with 35, 8 and 8

Bynum and Turiaf with double doubles!

P.S. Is this game gonna be live on KCAL? or is it gonna be tape delay again?

Celtics are an amazing defensive team so far...its certainly not going to be a high scoring game...I expect a loss to be honest...but you never know.

The way this year is going we probably blow them out. We blow out the Suns at home but we lose to the Bucks, you just never know with this team.

I'm thinking 4 pt. win for my Lakers !!!

This will happen if..Ronny is healthy enough to bother KG and Mihm plays well..

and the rest of the guys will do their stuff..

Put Kobe on whoever among shuttlesworth and the truth is hot..I'm looking forward to some minutes for Ariza..

If some of the Celtics scrubs will have good games and then we'll be blown out..

The Laker should treat this as a play-off game, if we can win here I think Stern would work hard for the rebirth of a rivalry in the Finals mhihi

This would be my first live telecast game this year jam2

Kobe gets 70 in the TD Boston Garden, I seriously don't see us doing well unless Kobe goes off.

Are they gonna leave Ray Allen open just like Peja, Bowen, Bonner and Redd? Most likely because of KG in the post. Kobe needs to take over defensively on ray or pierce and score a lot of course.

7-5

Though I won't be surprised if we win considering the Celtics are a good team.

Were either getting blown out or blowing them out. call it. I think if we run the tri right and don't go cold that's all we gotta do to disect their defense. On defense, just don't get lazy.

Our bench needs to do what they do, scoring 41+ points this game.

And Kobe has to shoot 20+ shots, and making a decent amount.

If Lamar doesn't score 20, we'll have our work cut our for us.

Bynum can take Perkins, Hope we come out focused and not too dependent on the 3 point shot.

I'm going to the game...

I'm going to be 16 rows up near the center. Should be able to see me and my friend on TV.

at

Los Angeles Lakers (704) at Boston Celtics (9-1)
Friday, November 23
7:30 PM ET
TV: NBA LP ch 753, CSN HD, KCalHD
TD Banknorth Garden

Probable Starting Matchups
vs
PG: Rajon Rondo vs Derek Fisher

vs
SG: Ray Allen vs Kobe Bryant

vs
SF: Paul Pierce vs Vladimir Radmanovic

vs
PF: Kevin Garnett vs Lamar Odom

vs
C: Kendrick Perkins vs Andrew Bynum

Off the Bench
James Posey, Eddie House, Tony Allen, Scot Pollard, Brian Scalabrine, Big Baby Davis, Leon Powe

Key off the Bench

Posey's defense off the bench will be needed in this game, especially on Kobe.

Off the Bench
Jordan Farmar, Luke Walton, Chris Mihm, Sasha Vujacic, Rony Turiaf

Key Off the Bench

Walton always has a good game against us and his offense off the bench will give the Lakers a boost.

Key Matchups
vs
Kevin Garnett PPG 20.7 RPG 13.00 APG 4.2 EFF + 31.20
vs
Lamar Odom PPG 13.1 RPG 8.30 APG 2.0 EFF + 16.29
KG vs Odom should be a good matchup with KG getting the better of it.

vs
Ray Allen PPG 20.3 RPG 4.50 APG 3.3 EFF + 19.10
vs
Kobe Bryant PPG 26.9 RPG 6.60 APG 4.8 EFF + 26.00
I expect to see Pierce and Posey on Kobe and a double team whenever possible.

Keys to the Game
Stop Kobe Don't expect the Garden crowd to be cheering for Kobe this game. Kobe can single handedly beat a team and so Doc needs to do whatever it takes to stop him and take him out of his game. Pierce should see some time guarding him as should Posey and we should see double teams coming at him whenever he touches the ball.

Take Care of the Ball. The Celtics must get their turnovers under control. They can get away with 19 turnovers with some teams, but the better teams will take advantage of them.

Defense After a lapse in Orlando, the Celtics were back to playing good defense against the Warriors. The Celtics can't afford to have defensive lapses against the Lakers or they will capitalize on them. For the Celtics to be an elite team, they have to make defense second nature and make it a priority.

Game Notes:
The Celtics- Lakers rivalry is one of the most storied in all basketball. In recent years it just wasn't the same because the Celtics had fallen on hard times. But, with the resurgence of the Celtics this year, we should see the rivalry heat up. The Lakers have been playing well even though they are coming off a loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday. It would be good to hear the Beat LA chants in the Garden again. Ray Allen and KG are both big on history and I am sure the history of the rivalry between these two teams won't be lost on them. Should be a good game.

this is where we miss kwame i think he would give garnett trouble n kobe on allen

i hope lamar steps up defensively and ofensively

but the big three this is where kwame counts i dont think bynum can guard kg or turiaf

i see kobe on allen mos def maybe pierce who gon slow down kg.

if he and Bynum has similar numbers that will basically cancel out each other

KG 23/15
Bynum 19/13

or somthing like that and kobe shuts down either pierce or allen or bench comes through we could win this.

End of the day i just want us to come with the energy and purpose the whole game definately gon try and get this online as i cant get it here(jam) but this is the game i really wanted to see all season i was one saying lamar/oneal/kobe our big 3 but i admit kobe/lamar/bynum is our big 3 hope all can step it up
