I just got home I was out all night (I'm on the east coast, it's 1 in the morning here), I guess I didn't miss much, what exactly went wrong?

Kobe is frustrated with his team's passion to win or just stay in the game!

I was with you in laughing at Odom, but the Phil thing I'm not. Phil's a great coach, this is one game. Sloan is a better defensive coach though, but then he has way better defensively capable players in Brewer, Williams, Kirelenko, Milsap, Boozer, Harpring... and on and on. You want defense you have to get the players for it.

to each his own, in my opinion Phil Jackson is a horrible coach. You can clearly see the difference between a Sloan, a Pop or even a Krewzyzsky (spelling?) over a Phil.

You honestly don't think either of the three coaches I just named could do a better job w/ the current Lakers?

Wow, AK's only averaging 10, 7 and 5 for the year, this just shows how bad Odom has played.

No. You can't get any more out of this particular Laker team than Phil has, except maybe a FEW, I mean a FEW, games that he made some bad substitutions in. You can't make players that can't play d play d better. You can't MAKE Lamar try if he doesn't want to, you can't get more out of Sasha and Cook than Phil did, they just suck.

Odom has been in a funkadelic funk

His numbers look decent for a bench player

The question is why is he playing them in the first place? See, the difference is that Jerry Sloan actually plays his young talent.

I really think the Lakers were over-confident...they did amazing last night and thought they could do the same this game with less effort just because Boozer and Okur were out...

We better win Sunday vs. Orlando.

What are you talking about, what young talent is Phil not playing? He plays practicaly the whole bench every night? We don't have young defensive talent like the Jazz. We dont' have a Brewer, we dont' have a Milsap, we don't have a Kirelenko.

Nice that Jazz fans booed Derek Fisher for leaving Utah so he could get the proper cancer treatment for his daughter.

That's what happens when you in-breed with 12 wives and your children.

We do have a Brewer in Crit. A blowout looks bad, but really, a couple of stops on Deron Williams, and a couple of made shots by a point guard in place of Fisher, in the 1st half and it's a completely different game.

And you know that Critt is a defensive stopper how? man3 Critt was out in garbage time tonight and didn't do a thing, I love the kid, but come on. He's not a Brewer, Brewer is long and BIG in the arm deparment, Critt is not. I agree that Critt should play over Sasha, but that dosen't make Phil a bad coach.
