If we go on streaks of 10 wins, then one loss, then 10 wins, one loss, etc., I'll be a very happy fan.

Are you kidding me? Dropping confetti? Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. I hope they squeak their way into the 8th seed so we can DEMOLISH them. What an infuriating game.

Well I'm not to upset about this loss. We were on the 2nd end of a back to back on the road, we couldn't hit any outside shot (5-27 3p fg), and blazers can't play any better than this. We'll bounce back against Dallas.

Apparently beating us IS their championship so whatever, let the losers celebrate. man11

I don't blame them. 1) We're the Lakers, 2) We've got 3 super role players/stars, and 3) We're on a 10-game winning streak. If you get the honor of beating us, there is a cause for celebration.

you got me there jam2

we are the Lakers. that's definitely true.

I want Bynum and Ariza back so bad...

There's no question we'll be much better with Bynum and Ariza back, but until then every game matters if the Lakers want to earn home court advantage throughout the Western playoffs. I also agree we are a better team than the Blazers, but they are a terrible match up for us as they seem to play us extremely well. I just hope the Lakers take the next game at Portland to knock them down a couple of notches and show them who's the more talented team.

This is a tough loss to take especially since it means the lossing streak continues in Portland, but the sting will be eased if the Lakers come out and start a new winning streak with a W over Dallas.

Uh, it's not that bad. I'm already shifting my focus to Dallas and their lack of an inside presence.

If that happened, we'd sweep the Blazers.

Assuming Bynum is back to how he was before and Ariza too.

Oh well, the streak was going to end one way or another, and it ended @ Portland. We just need to come strong against Dallas on Sunday, then start another streak from there. Even though this was a loss, it tells the players that they need to worker harder and make that extra push.

?

No, but I have been fearing this game in the schedule for awhile now. I guess you don't know how tough the Blazers are at the Rose Garden especially when they see the Lakers.

You already said this. Don't waste your time by repeating something that has no real meaning (implying it was a waste a time). Excuse me if I was concerned about my health.

mm... yeah. well said.

I'm not saying this loss doesn't hurt. Every loss hurts, especially in this conference.

I feel the same way. I was really hoping the Lakers would maintain the same amount of losses as the Spurs and more importantly end the 10 game losing streak at the Rose Garden. It may be just one loss, but it's still a tough one to take.

No shame in that loss.
Sure, it would have been great if Lakers won, but Blazers played better tonight.

Hopefully it will keep Lakers on their toes and really ready for them in April.

Why are some of y'all utterly pissed off? Have you not seen what percentage the Blazers shot tonight? They just couldn't miss and unfortunately, our 3's were not dropping in the last 2 minutes of the game.

im pissed because we've been losing there so many time throughout the years. the last time i remember winning there was when kobe hit a buzzer beater with i think less than 2 sec left.
