dont you guys just hate when luke takes out the ball in these situations............i swear its been probably like a good 5 times i can recall him messing up on a crucial inbounds play. luke = worse inbounder ever

and off course his lover phill wants him to be the hero. am suprised phil didnt draw up the last play for him

Yeah unfortunately. Too young, too soft.

At least we know we are close. And there are a few pieces that need to be added or changed.

You don't just add pieces and then it all comes together. You have to look at how Boston did it, full season, training camp...building.

Bynum & Pau will be a case of too little too late for this year. Maybe a training camp for the entire team but Kobe won't be part of training camp next year.

Thats a foolish statement....its 2 bad games. Get over it Leftymo....lemme guess, u bet on the grizzlies?

And now I'll pose my second post game question

Is there any PG in the NBA who plays worse defense than Ego Ears?

I can't bear to see more suckage from the Lakers. Let Pau, AB and Trevor play even if they are all on crutches or wheelchairs.

Again, no, without Pau and Bynum it's not, do you people not realize our 2nd and 3rd best players are out with injuries?

I realize that. But I guarantee if you take Billups and Rip out for a game, the Pistons would still KILL the grizzlies. Same goes for Spurs sans Duncan/Parker. Same goes for Celtics sans Garnett/Allen.

If your team is this bad without your 2nd and 3rd best players, you're not a championship team.

Hmmmm...all teams that play D

Actually the Spurs and Pistons lost to some crappy teams lately so nothing is guaranteed.

So what's the purpose of signing Ira if he isn't going to play unless the Lakers are up by 30+? Isn't he here for defensive purposes? Putting him in couldn't have made them any worse, no?

Guys we were out played the whole game...don't blame the last play for us losing..we suck right now without Pau. He needs to come back ASAP!!!

Raja Bell has an ankle sprain and he comes back like 2 games later...wow this is pathetic...

Maybe we should be excited to play good teams instead of bad?

Its disappointing that we lost two straight to non-play-off teams...It looks like we lost a lot of legs after the road trip..

We deserved to lose tonight.

Which is sad because we're the superior team. We played Warrior basketball tonight, which includes no defense and chucking of the 3 ball - which we couldn't even make. I'm puzzled as to why they refused to go inside late in the game. We're missing Gasol, but it's not as if Memphis has a big, bad front-court. Jason Collins and Darko Milicic aren't two of the league's best centers.

Dissapointing couple of losses and they're unacceptable, especially when you're in this tight of a playoff race.

Can somebody explain to me how this team in a span of about a week goes on the road and beats the two best home teams in Dallas and Utah and then comes home and loses to the two worst road teams???

Somehow I think the Lakers take these sub .500 teams too lightly, thinking that it is an easy.

And you know how every team always have a player getting Career highs when playing against the Lakers... boxing1

Phil's always too kind in his press conferences, I'd love for him to really lay into the team for a change.
