They can play better than this.
However we can play MUCH, MUCH better than this.
Lakers will have to learn from their mistakes and man -up the next game. Pau gets his first real test of the playoffs - needs to bounce back sunday. |

Game 4 adjustments:
-Get Pau involved early
-Find a way from preventing Boozer and Millsap from looking like hall of famers
-DO NOT give Farmar a single minute of play
-Throw DJ into the mix. They want to get physical, well we have a big body rotting on the pine.
I would like to see Ira in there too, I think he'd do great against some of their SFs, but that ain't happening. _________________

Oh well, it was a great game overall. Never thought the Lakers would get it that close in the 4th. Utah played great and deserved the W.
Now we need to concentrate on winning game 4. With a split in Utah, we'll have the series in hand.
I'll be sporting my P&G on Sunday |

Religious reasons. It's their first Sunday home game since 2001. Larry Miller won't be there and I'm sure a few other fans won't.

Kind of like when the Lakers had a statement game and beat the Suns once in last year's playoffs.
The Lakers should be able to take this series.

We lost this game when Fish went out in the 1st with 2 fouls. Before that we were up and doing fine, Farmar screwed us. _________________

| 5-point loss, damn, I'm starting to get scary with these projections. The thing is, if we don't try something different, it could happen again, unless the officiating changed. But honestly, you can't say that the officiating was that lopsided. No reasons to think that it's going to be much better in game 4. |

Farmar was simply atrocious.
Pau screwed himself by getting the ball pilfered a lot early. He was never comfortable working in the post and that's not going to work for a Center. _________________

Exactly, 18 to on the road, sash and jordan 0-9, Gasol with his worst Laker game, Luke with his usual clutch performance and we only lose by 5. That's ok for me, but you gotta do a much better job on sunday. Can't allow them to tie the series. _________________

You are dense. You claim that something is wrong with Kobe's 3 ball this season by saying that in 05/06 he would have made it and he just showed you that Kobe has a higher % this year. What is so hard to understand.

Dude, get the hell out of here with that. |
His last three 3's went wide right hitting the backboard. |
you should take into consideration:
a) how fast he had to shoot them
b) the defensive pressure on him (aka he has to shoot it very far away or out of position in order to get the shot off in time, otherwise he'd get blocked 10 times a game with the way teams D him up)
c) one bad game doesn't make you a horrible three point shooter. _________________ uhh, i'll write a signature when I think of something cool. |
