Jackson Clarion-Ledger: Jamont Gordon, the dynamic 6-foot-4 Mississippi State guard, said Monday night that he's entering the NBA Draft, according to a report.

A FOXSports.com article quoted Gordon as saying he won't sign with an agent, which would preserve his eligibility for a senior season at State if he's not drafted.
"I definitely want to stay in the draft, but I'm going to wait until I sign with an agent in case I get hurt," Gordon is quoted as saying.
Gordon told the Web site he would send his draft entry paperwork to the NBA today.
Though Gordon's per-game scoring average increased from 16 in 2006-07 to 17.2 in 2007-08, two key stats took a dip. His assist-to-turnover ratio slipped from 1.52 to 1.22, and his 3-point shooting percentage dipped from 34.7 percent to 31.9 percent - even after he spent the summer back home in Nashville honing his shot. |
