While you all are awaiting to find out which team you have been given, which should be posted tomorrow or Sunday, check out the GM Guide. If you have any questions regarding any of the rules, feel free to ask in here. _________________

JSMs probably got a list of who's staying and who's going, like last year. _________________

I've already been Toronto before. If that's an issue, I'm open to switching. If not I don't mind. _________________ My Work-In-Progress Video List

I've compiled one hell of a FA list. Including those who are unrestricted, restricted, opting out, those who are staying, those who are retiring, and those who are using their ETOs. And it's in alphabetical order. _________________

I think we have a few GMs who are repeating with their teams. That's just how the paper unfolded. I don't have a problem with it, if you don't. _________________

Here you go Jam (from the guide):
| Quote: |
| 8) The salary cap used for the game will be $59 million, so salaries up to that figure can be absorbed by teams below the cap. The luxury tax will be $71 million. The mid-level exception (MLE) of $5.6 million dollars is available to teams over the cap. The Hawks, Celtics, Cavs, Nuggets, Pistons, Rockets, Pacers, Clippers, Lakers, Heat, Bucks, Wolves, Nets, Hornets, Knicks, Magic, Blazers, Kings, Spurs, and the Jazz have the Bi-Annual Exception (BAE, formerly known as the LLE) of $1.9 million. |

Per the guide:
| Quote: |
Future Draft Rights
What picks you owe and are owed, something you need to know when trading draft picks. |

Took me a minute to figure that one out based on their wording.
You have the 24th pick of the 2nd round.
Translating what DE was getting at:
If the Rockets would have had a better season than the Hornets, they would have swapped 2nd round picks. But the Hornets were 2nd and the Rockets were 5th, so the Rockets kept their own pick.
The Sonics were owed a pick in the Landry trade and it is whichever pick is worse between the Rockets 2nd round pick and the Hornets 2nd round pick. Again, Hornets finished with the better record so they have the later pick in the draft and theirs goes to the Sonics. _________________

When would we be allowed to submit a proposal for moving? And who are we addressing the proposal towards? David Stern? and as far as the game who do I send the proposal to? _________________ GoalLineBlitz (Manute Bol- LB) http://goallineblitz.com/game/signup.pl?ref=298765

Last I heard, Stern and George were both locked away in some Slovakian prison.
You can submit it to the league's relocation committee as soon as you have a proposal written up. _________________

Are you the relocation committee? What are some things I should include in the proposal? _________________ GoalLineBlitz (Manute Bol- LB) http://goallineblitz.com/game/signup.pl?ref=298765

^ Si senor. I am also Jack's Smirking Revenge but I don't think that's of much importance right now.
-Reasons for relocating.
-I'd look up some populations stats of where you are now vs where you are moving to.
-Max capacity of the arena where you are vs. the max capacity of where you would be playing.
-Selling points of the city (this is also where you could include statistics of prior NBA's teams success there if applicable).
-Financial data of where you are now vs. where you would be moving
(note: I realize that you're wanting to cancel a move, but the same data is relevant). _________________

^ Since everyone has been using Hoopshype so far we'll stick with that this summer.
I'll look into that one for future competitions and see how factual their figures are. Thanks for the link.
You can post whatever news stories you want in your thread, BUT you cannot mentioned players you are interested in (FAs or players on other teams) and you cannot speak to other teams regarding players until the trade market opens whether it be in the thread, via PM, or via IM. _________________
