It's ME!

Just thought I'd point it out. Yesterday I was fortunate enough to be a courtside seat holder for half of the China vs. Memphis game. I'm an intern for the director of the NBA Summer League and for that portion of my 11 hour work day, he had me hold the seats for Danny Ainge (Celts GM) for about 30 minutes. It was cool... and that dunk was sick.

I keep a close eye on that devil Ainge... today he had a long talk with Rick Carlisle, I wondered what that was all about. I also didn't know Don Nelson was a big dancer (he's always dancing during commercial breaks). Andre Iguodala has been there both days, as has PJ Carlesimo. I keep running into Chris Sheridan and Marc Stein from BSPN, god I wish I could just tell them how much I hate their writing (although Sheridan is somewhat okay). Ran into Myers, Villanueva, and Simmons as well.

I ran into Ron Artest at the Palms just 30 minutes ago. I'm so upset I didn't get a picture, and I'm even more upset that I couldn't chat it up with him about coming to LA. He walked right into the Celebrity Poker Room before I could catch him.

Anyways, the internship is going well... thanks for asking (Critical man11

). I'm learning alot of new things, meeting a lot of new people, getting a new perspective on what goes on behind the scenes at these basketball games. I didn't realize how much work and pressure is involved in putting together one single summer league game, let alone 55 total games over a 10 day period. I'm very eager to see our boys play tomorrow, but I'm not allowed to take pictures or get autographs while on the job.

I'll try and keep you guys updated as much as possible. All I do is observe while working, the pictures and juicy information will only be available if I do my eavesdropping and player-searching at night (still bummed about Ronny). Oh well.
