I'm sure I'm not the only one that get's pretty down and depressed when the Lakers lose a game. Sometimes my friends and family think I am insane because of the way defeats get to me........ Is anyone else in the same boat as I am? Some of the things that happen to me when the Lakers lose:

1. Can't sleep, can't get excited about anything that day or the next, just want to lay in bed and do nothing.
2. Don't feel like talking to anyone, not even my girlfriend who I usually reject with things like sex on nights when the Lakers lose.
3. Loss of appetite, loss of interest in life.
4. Avoid all tv sports media, internet sports media, and newspapers.
5. Occasionally throw items/furniture across the room

You need help.

I just don't watch Sportscenter because I hate to see the highlights.

I recommend some herbs to balance you out. That sounds miserable. I just usually go to sleep bummed a bit.

I beat my wife and kick my dog after every loss. That way, they root just as hard as I do for a win. And they hurt just as much with every loss.

I usually just slam water bottles and throw some stuff on the wall. i'll be cussing non-stop and can't go to sleep. i'll yell at anyone who try to talk to me afterwards. it usually goes away when i play CS though. lolz.

i know, i got issues. lolz. but lakers are part of my life. it's funny cuz i'm sure none of the lakers give a flying f about how we feel because they're still enjoying millions of dollars while we female dog and moan. man11

I was in the same situation. My Yankees lost too. mad1 but naw, I feel a little down, but other than that, it's just a game. You have to remember this is entertainment, not life and death. It's no use taking your frustrations out on people in your life. You're watching it for fun. I try to keep that in mind. I used to be a lot more intense about it, though. splat bang mad1 man6

Life's too short for that, though. beer1

See the thing is for some people it is much more than just a game. It is pretty much a big part of their life. Fans spend all day thinking about the lakers, reading columns, saving up money to go watch them play, defending their players and teams against other people and most importantly put faith on them to bring us happiness.

Eh....back in my highschool days, losses REALLY affected me for a good while. Nowadays, I just take it for what it is, a fun game I love to watch, and just enjoy every part of watching my team.

Let me preface this by saying this is only when the Lakers are expected to win a championship or go really far that year...Last few years, losses haven't bothered
me...as much as this year..

When we win, I usually have ESPN on all day or whatever...because I'm not in fear of being subjected to negativity about the Lakers.

I'll do a little bit of venting, I try not to carry it out the next day...today I woke up a little frustrated went to a party after the game last night...was upset a bit in the early goings, after a few wins in beer pong, I was able to forget about the loss. I live and die with this team, but to start getting REALLY depressed...I dunno

i am verrrrryy pissy the night of a loss and very on edge and annoyed the next day after

this is very unhealthy, but i honestly truely can't help it

also, I can't watch any TV before sleeping at nights the night of a loss because I only watch ESPN or Fox sports or MTV at night. I don't want to see the Lakers again that night and MTV has mostly stupid things airing, which i hate watching and don't in the end.

Like the stupid celebrity kid's american idol bullcrap.....what the hellll is thattttttt.
