Watching March Madness I have been able to see how amazing this kid Derrick Rose from Memphis really is. He is a very good floor general, and easily is the best point guard to enter the draft in the last 3 years. He has incredible vision and quickness and also seems to be a team player with a winner's additude. Already he looks better than Jordan Farmar. He also plays tenacious defense. Is there any way we could get Derrick Rose as a Laker. Where is he suppose to go in the draft? He reminds me alot of young Dwayne Wade, but with a better jumper.

I don't think I have been this obsessed about a player coming out of college in a long time

Whoever gets him, is getting a superstar

There is a way to get him, we'd have to trade players to get the #1 or #2 pick and that isn't happening.

Get in line because 29 other teams want him too.

But without the Lakers trading away Drew or Kobe, they don't get the #1 or #2 pick from whoever ends up with it this year.

Rose is either the #1 or #2 pick in this year's draft. I think he could go #1 before Beasley with the tournament he's had, especially if he continues to impress in the final 4.

He has superstar PG written all over him. I think he will be the best PG since CP3.

I think it depends on the order of the draft IMO....IF order is strictly based on current record Mia, Sea, Min, I dont think the top will trade it away if they get a chance @Rose, obviously Mia will have a tough choice because they'll need both Rose/Beasley. If they take Beasley Sea will surely take Rose even with their 2 guards since niether one they have will be legit stars. But lets say a team like Char. even Minn gets 1st or 2nd, what would the chances be if we offered Odom/cash, etch for rights to Rose could that happen?

We don't need him. Hell, our point guard position won't be relevant once Drew and Pau get back.

He will be the better than Chris Paul...BOOK IT!

If there was some way of getting him for say Jordan Farmar and a 1st rounder in 2009 I'd gladly jump on that wagon.

Derrick Rose
Kobe Bryant
Lamar Odom
Pau Gasol
Andrew Bynum

That would be the greatest starting 5 in NBA history man4

How will Rose progress with all the manpower on this team?

The Grizzlies have their eyes on Rose too. If they get him, Conley and Crittendon might be available.
