You got to love green screens, right? lol. If you play around by pausing the video, you can see obviously that it's fake. Pause it when Kobe is jumping over the car and when the car enters the frame. My question is... Where's the driver?

I saw a driver in the car...but I'm thinking the car was digitized in their, 2 shots combined together, Kobe jumping then another shot where the car is driving in on the same lot combine it together and walla.... but that was pretty sick though funny how they added Ronny, they couldn't have choosen a better hypeman for it mhihi

btw....anybody know where I can buy that wind breaker suit Kobe has on, I really like the sweater...thx

he was not next to the car at all, look at kobe's left foot before the car gets there it is on the shadow of the street light, then as the car is passing by look where the front right tire is, it hits the same spot on the shadow of the streetlight.

Loose Cannons says that Kobe isn't in line with the car. Since it's a side shot, Kobe is actually towards the left or right of the car. Makes sense.

The Car is digitized. There is a reason why Turiaf isn't in the picture when Kobe jumps over the car. He would ruin the CG if he was in it

You guys are still debating whether this is real or not? It's fake, you can see his shadow on the SIDE of the car as it goes by. If the car is even there he jumps way to the side of it and it's a camera trick.

And LMAO Kobe actually just got hate on Jim Rome is Burning for this. Kobe's the only athlete that could get hate for a fun and funny ad. It wasn't Rome, it was that woman that takes his place sometimes, I don't know her name. She said that Kobe is in the MVP race and he should concentrate on that, not being Johnny Knoxville because now kids are trying to copy what Kobe did and getting hurt. Kobe's a terrible role model. man10

It's definitely fake. Lakers would never agree to this and no insurance is going to cover that. But it's still very well done. And no, he didn't jump on the side of the car as the car clearly goes over the same shadow spot on the ground. It is just movie magic.
