He didn't say 2 moves are in the works, he said the Lakers are 2 moves away from being a contender. He said a second star-type player and a role player.

Somebody help. Was it two moves away or two moves currently in the works? Someone please confirm. If it's two moves away then he's not saying anything we don't know. If you put Artest on this team without giving up Odom and then add an Earl Watson type player, we would be a contender.

He said that the lakers need two good moves to be contenders(really good player and good role player), and they basically asked him for a hint and Magic just said Mitch is working (didnt necessarily mean on anything big) just that hes working. So who knows.
