I dunno exactly...he is still in spain I think and probably will remain there for a year or two before coming to the NBA...he will be part of the Lakers tho if they trade Kwame or Bynum or both...we would be thin at C. _________________

The Lakers have enaugh young players. They picked international projects because they want them to develop and MAYBE join the team in the future...
we did not intend to have 3 new rookies added to an already too young roster. _________________

He would count against the Lakers roster, they don't want to have rookies they aren't using taking up roster spots. That's why he will stay overseas. _________________

Here's a video of Marc Gasol that was put up on Youtube yesterday. Highlights of Gasol going up against Spurs' first round pick Tiago Splitter. Both look good in the highlights. Also, the question of whether or not Gasol can dunk is answered.

Thanks for finding that!
That Vid is pretty nice!
Better than the other ones they have imo...
I like his competetiveness as well...

I'm not so sure about that one. We'll have to see. _________________ "Why can't America realize that falling in love with Kobe doesn't mean breaking up with Michael?" Rick Reilly
Bryant, who will be representing Team USA for the first time, told Gasol: "Being that we lost this series, you (guys) have no chance at a gold medal. I ain't goin' 0 for 2, homie." |
