I just traded Ricky Davis for Lamar Odom. I was a little surprised that the guy took it, but it was a good trade for me, agreed?

This is the one league I have been talking about all year that has underachieved, I was at the bottom of the league for most the season. I am 21-3 the past three weeks including a 6-2 win against the 3rd place team.

My team as it stands right now.

PG- T. Parker
SG- K. Bryant
G- T. Ford
SF- R. Artest
PF- L. Odom
F- J. Smith (ATL)
C- P. Gasol
C- D. Mutombo
UT- D. West (BOS)
UT- L. Head
BN- J. Childress
BN- J. Calderon
BN- U. Haslem

The team I drafted

I am pretty confident the trade was in my favor, but because he took it so quickly now I am wondering, I need some opinions!

The transformation of my team has gone like this

Trades- (I got/I traded)

Caron Butler for David Lee

Kobe Bryant for(Butler/Pierce) This was when Pierce was first injured, I didn't want to lose him for that long, with the amount of time he was out, I think it was a good trade for me

Artest/Okafor

Pau/Parker for Duncan/Boykins

Davis for Odom

Some of the FA's I have picked up are

(First off I dropped Webber when he was doing horrible, and then someone picked him up when he got traded bang )

Webber for Delonte West

Jason Williams for Jose Calderon

Smush Parker for Luther Head

Peja (after surgery) for Mutombo

I've turned my team around, and hopefully I can get in the playoffs and make some noise!!!

your team looks really good now. I mean 1st or3rd, you just have to hope that your team is in top shape coming playoff time.

I can tell from my teams the most disappoiting BY FAR was BDG H2H roster.

I was 8th most of the time and I really sucked.

I had Boozer, Chris Paul, T-Mac, Vilanueva, Gasol, Chandler, Bell...I couldnīt believe. I had 3rd highest FG% overall but I was just 4-8 in H2Hs...thats just terrible luck bang

but then since I traded Boozer, Villanueva and Carroll for Wade, I dunno what happened but all the problems were solved. I also traded Jefferson and Walton for Odo,

Iīm lucky tho.

Walton and Jefferson wonīt went down BIGTIME.
Boozer went down
Villanueva went down

If I hadnīt done those trades, I would be near last without a doubt.
I could even compensate Pauls injury.

In the last 3 weeks I have played 3 of the best teams

tied with Sky 4-4 without Paul (and he missed Pierce)
beat BDG 6-2 (that week Paul came back during the week but I had a great overall week)
this weak I beat hZm 7-1

Iīm pretty confident now to make the playoffs. jam2

So you think me trading Davis for Odom was a good move?

Do you think if I could, I should trade Odom for Josh Howard?

And just to show you how bad my team has done this year (I think teams must always have good weeks against me

Stat/(record)/rank (It's a 12 team league)

FG/(8-7)/2nd
FT/(6-10)/12th
3PT/(6-10)/5th
PTS/(7-9)/7th
REB/(11-5)/2nd
AST/(9-7)/5th
ST/(7-9)/2nd
BLK/(15-1)/2nd

I mean look at that. How do I rank 2nd in steals out of my entire league yeat I have a losing record in that stat? same goes for FG, 2nd in the league and I am barely above .500....

1. Yes. I think Odom for Davis is a good move.

2. Thats a pretty even move. they are similar in everything. Howard gets a little more points and a little more 3s, Odom is the better rebounder and passer.

I personally would say depends on your need. If you need more consistency and more FT% or 3s, Howard makes sense. If not Iīd personally rather stick with Odom.

I actually could use Odom's assist, it's just I have Kobe on my team too, and so I don't like having a team's two best players on the same team because it's unlikely they will both have a good night at the same time.

I offered Kobe for DWade to rid myself of this problem, and Wade provides me with more assists and blocks. However if that trade goes through I really need a 3pt shooter.

ya beside the 3, Wade is a better fantasy player. He shoots higher percentage and he gets blocks and steals like no other guard in the NBA.

If that deal goes down, you can consider Odom for Howard. But Odoms overall game is just very intriguing and if he gets his act together, then Howard isnīt going to be better.

Yea, right now Kobe is ranked 4th and Wade is 7th. Hopefully that influences the guys decision. If I get Wade I would be more apt to find a better three point shooter for Odom. I'd probably try and get Ray Allen for him....

If I was you, Iīd focus on

Steve Nash (INCREDIBLE efficiency, points, assists and 3s, as many as ANYONE)
Ray Allen (well FT% and 3s...he is right on top)
Mike Miller (that guy has already made 160 3s this year. He is a VERY good all-rounder 18/6/4 with many 3s)

I think with Odom, you add something and you try to get them.

How many teams in that league?

I have Odom on my team and I must say I'm pretty disappointed in him. It was a good trade for you all in all but Davis is actually doing very well lately.

12 teams. He has been disappointing but he basically does what Davis does + rebounding, maybe minus a little scoring (atleast lately).
