superman eh?

That was kind of painful to watch as Howard looked average out there. Plus the pistons were getting away with some holding on howard.

Why? Detroit is a better threat to Boston.

Now we have to do the same thing Detroit did - play hard and win a game in a hostile environment. I mean, it's not a must as long as we're protecting our homecourt, but it makes everything easier. 3-1 is pretty much done deal.

For me at least Orlando is the only team I like left in the East.

However Detroit is a better threat to Boston but Detroit won't beat them not with Flip Saunders as coach.

I agree that Boston is the more talented team and will probably go to the Finals, but I question Doc Rivers' rotations and inability to win a road game. Flip Saunders is by no means a Hall of Fame coach but let's cut him some slack, every year his Minnesota team was a low seeded underdog, and he's had more experience and success than Rivers.

Boston doesn't scare me at all. If they beat the Cavs which I'm not sure they can do, they'll struggle with whoever they face next. They can only win at home and as the talent level of the opposition gets better and better, that won't cut it.

Detroit in 5

they got their wake up call already against the Sixers....they will shut down everybody else on the Magic and make Howard go for 40 ppg

so far, so good...I think Detroit finishes them off easily tonight...Although Dwight hasn't played like I expected....i guess the Magic need to re-evaluate some of the moves they made...like giving Rashard Lewis 120 million....idiots

I'm still shocked that the Magic can't beat a Billups-less Pistons.

About time the Magic scored. First basket this quarter came with just over 3:30 left in the game.

5 point game. They're still in this.

Magic can't hit a FT to save their life, lucky for them they are insanely good at 3 point shooting

TOs and missed FTs killed the Magic.

I was expecting more out of Superman this series. He's got to learn that with his size and athleticism that he can do whatever he wants against 90% of the league. He wasn't nearly aggressive enough and got too flustered with the officiating.

I think the Pistons are going to be in the Finals this year. They will have like a week off now, Billups will get healed and they will be ready for Boston or Cleveland.

Once Jameer Nelson opened his mouth about a Guarantee, I knew they were doomed. Pistons is one of those teams you don't try to give them motivation because they are an exceptionally good team when they are challenged. They showed up in Boston and beat them when there were doubts. You just let the Pistons be themselves and hope that they are unfocused and squander their game. But if you give them bulletin material, they will focus and destroy you. Like the old saying, let the sleeping dog lie. Don't wake the slumbering giant.

If Orlando wants to get better, they need to replace Jameer Nelson quickly and Stan Van Gundy. They need a real PG who can distribute the ball. And a coach that is going to set up plays for easier shots.

Whoever won the series would be a bigger threat. Plus orlando didn't exactly get swept by boston in the regular season.
