Hi

My name is Oskar and I'm Icelandic. I'm studying in New Zealand at the moment but I'm going home before christmas.

My flight goes through L.A. so I saw a chance of a lifetime. Stop in L.A. and go to a NBA game.

I've been playing basketball in Iceland sence for ever and I just love the NBA. I have been dreaming about this forever and now it's coming true.

I have booked my ticket for the Lakers-Spurs game in December and I will only be staying there for 3 or 4 nights.

Im 22 years old and this is my first visit to USA. I was wandering if you have some tips for me. Regarding the game or L.A. in general.

For example, when is a good time to arrive to the Staple Center, 1 hour before game ?

Is there something there that is a must do for me to get the most of the trip to the game ?

Just anything you think of, I don't want to miss out on anything.

Also about L.A. in general, if there is a must do beside going to a Lakers game, I would be happy to know about it.

Thanks alot
Oskar

Hope you enjoy your stay!

What kind of things are you interested in? Los Angeles has a ton to offer and with only a few days, you won't be able to see it all.

P.S. Bjork rocks!

well... it would be really good to show up like about an hour before the game.. so that you know you still have soe time to sit down... & maybe even check out the Team L.A. store. [it has lots of NBA gear.. etc.]
& if yo show up like an hour before the game.. you`ll be sure to be able to watch the lakers warm up.

& after the game.. you can wait by the parking structure.. & watch the lakers come out in their fancy cars.

If I show up early enough to catch them doing warmup, am I able to walk close to the court and take some photos, or are there some rule against that?

it depends on where you are sitting.
if you are sitting down below.. then yes. but if you are sitting towards the top.. then no.

Sweet, I´ll just bring the camera and see what happens. I think I´m somewhere at the middle, Loge 100´s, section 107.
