Want to personal attack me, take it to PM's... how many times must that be stated to you? man3 man3

Point out the personal attack? You're not objective. You said that I'm not in the know. What's the difference? You may watch Baltimore, but you don't watch all the other teams so you're not in the know with respect to other teams. Therefore you're not objective.

GuRu: Baltimore's D is very, very good. Their offense is quite suspect.

Eagles still in the race! Yes! We're heading to New York, and we need some revenge for that embarassing loss earlier.

I can see it now. Philadelphia Eagles win the superbowl as a wild card team led by the resurgence of Jeff Garcia. I can dream, right? man10

Ouch..that was rather painful.

Atleast we still have the 6th seed. I'm not sure what that means, but atleast we have it.

The NFC makes me understand how teams in the Eastern Conference or the National league feel.

I'm almost ashamed whenever I see us in the playoff spot. Almost like winning the lottery with a ticket you stole.

NFC West:

Seattle: 8 - 6
49ers: 6 - 8

Games remaining:
Seattle vs SD (should be a Seattle loss) and Seattle @ TB (if Rattay plays like he did against Chicago, it could be a Seattle loss)

Niners vs Arizona (SF should win) and SF @ Denver (SF should lose this one, but if Denver has nothing to play for and SF somehow wins....)

Scenario: Seattle loses both games and SF wins both, SF is a the division winner because they beat Seattle both times this year.

Niners go from 2 wins in 04 and 4 wins last year to a division winner / playoff team. To think we were 2 - 5 at one point this year.

I've said it once, I'll say it again: I'm rollin with Nolan. jam2

When the 6-8 "Bringing Guys Off the Streets to the O-Line" St. Louis Rams still have a prayer to make the playoffs, you know you're in a crappy conference.

On another note: What the hell happened to Carolina? They have excellent players at the skill positions, a good coach, a Super Bowl QB, and they play in the much weaker conference. How did their season collapse so quickly?

The 6-8 teams have little to no chance, same as the plethora of 7-7 teams in the DOMINATING AFC ( man10 )

What? Has Jake Delhomme not led his team to a Super Bowl?

Also if we're comparing conferences, let's look at the elite teams in the AFC & NFC respectively:

AFC

-San Diego
-Baltimore
-Indianapolis
-New England
-Denver
-Cincinnati

On the fringe: Jacksonville, Pittsburgh (would you wanna play them right now?), Kansas City

NFC

-Chicago
-New Orleans
-Dallas

On the fringe: Seattle, Philly, NYG, Atlanta

I'd take almost any team listed above from the AFC to beat any of the above NFC teams in a head-to-head matchup on a neutral field. The AFC is the superior conference top to bottom, and I'm not even sure how this could be debated.

Also, the AFC is 38-22 vs. the NFC this year.

My bad I saw conference but read division for some reason. And I don't think Jake was ever a SB QB. That Carolina was led to the SB more by there defense than the offensive side of the ball.
