Go FARMAR!!! One of the few bright spots in today's game! Can anyone get a picture of that dunk over Duncan? Man, does he have some serious hops!

Jordan played well tonight....props to him. I loved his aggression to the hoop.

The dunk on Duncrap was one of the few bright spots for the night.

Farmar should start. Send fisher to the bench (yet another waste of money, years).

I disagree....Fish has his uses, plus his shot is much better than it used to be, and it has a knack for falling when you seem to need it the most.

Fish is vital veteran leadership who's already contributed more in a few weeks than McKie did in two years.

That takes nothing away from Farmar...in fact I think Farmar is really benefiting from having Fish around.

Very good points. Don't you think Fisher would be better being a "spark off the bench" though?

that sounds kind of backwards..
fish is the old vet, so he should start and close out most games.
while the young energetic farmar comes in to bring a spark off the bench.
and don't start this 'wasted mle' crap, he's the best mle signing we've had in years. i know that's not saying much, but we're definitely a better team with him than without him. any team would benefit having fisher.

In a game like last night ... against a younger, much quicker PG ... Phil absolutely has to forget about Fisher's feelings and "leadership" and play Farmar 3/4 of the minutes.

Last night Parker scored 20 of his points while being guarded by Fish ... while Fish scored 6.

Farmar gave up 6 points while guarding Parker and scored 4.

Farmar has GOT to play 30+ minutes against PGs like Parker especially during those times when the game is being decided ... such as the Spurs' 2nd quarter run.

jordan's got all the abilities of tony parker, with more range and more athletecism to finish at the hoop.

he will be a parker type player soon, maybe better.

his speed getting up and down the floor is incredible. he simply can be a one man fast break at times if he wants, just like parker does.

i see so many qualities in farmar that remind me of parker. we really got something in this kid, and he's only 20. his confidence is gaining, and he's gonna continue to get better.

i agree that against parker, farmar should get more minutes, but do not diminish fish's importance to this team, but jordan is a better match up with parker.

i do. You are absolutely right.

Fisher should come off the bench as a spark for the second unit.

What do the Farmar fans think of tonight's game? I like Farmar, guys, but I'm not going to anoint him the second coming of Magic. Far from it. He is going to have to earn the starting spot. His D is still questionable, his decision-making is still frustrating, but his energy is fantastic. He was all over the court rebounding.

That was a REAL stupid move at the end.

But that play can't take away from the rest of his game, hope he keeps up the high level of energy.

I don't think he even touched him

it looked like he was getting up on Yao's face and juss act like trying to touch his wrists but i got the impression he didn't even touch him

he made a couple of bad plays...a lob pass to kwame that was intercepted and then a drive that went off his thigh

other than that he was solid

9 rebounds in 17 minutes for the little guy! jam2

I'm not sure. Even so, he should have just let Yao get his shot in and not hover so closely.

But either way I'm really happy with Farmar.

Jordan has a great attitude and he seems to be getting better every game.
Imagine if he had stayed with UCLA ! They would have gone all the way.
Keep it up Jordan!!!! jam2

He's still learning, he's clearly still not ready to start, but I love his energy as well. He's also pretty good at running the offense out there from what I see, he's a good leading PG in that he gets people going where they need to go. His shot comes and goes, but he's quick and good at layups. For a backup PG you could do a lot worse, he's adapted to the NBA game pretty quickly and he looks like he belongs now.

Leave it to Dick Bavetta standing 30 feet away to make that call when Violet Palmer was right in front of them and didn't see any contact.

am i looking at that right? 9 rebounds from Farmar? thats impressive....i really like what Farmar has brought to this team off the bench...he's becoming a solid contributor...but i believe he will be our starting PG soon....Fisher is warming up that spot for him....

Farmar has the potential to be a very good PG in this league...he's only in his 2nd year and he's really improved....
