After reading CL for the past 30 minutes I am now more pissed by the bandwagon so-called Laker fans here on CL. WOW! Thats more disgusting than us laying the egg with threads like
"Are you going to even watch game 5?" or "Kobe is no MJ"...........WTF

i blacked out i was so upset. i had that upset feeling in my stomach and i felt like i just wanted to barf. u know what makes me really upset/ hearing those celtics fans inside staples i cant get over it. it blows my mind when that happened

That's true. Nobody escapes the blame here. Biggest chokers in NBA finals history. They better have some pride and go win game 5 and protect their home floor. That's the least we can ask of the Lakers at this moment. |

I wanted to end the season and the WMC thread with a positive note.
I for one and hopefully talking for many want to thank the Lakers for having a great season. This season had all the ups and downs yet they stayed together as a team through it all. We got punched in the mouth and stayed swinging until finally Boston gave us the final blow. I am upset we lost but more happy with the way we played this year especially with the great number of injuries. I am also happy with the potential of next year. So in short, THANKS LAKERS THIS HAS BEEN A MAGIC RIDE

let's not forget when we started this season, we were thinking about getting the 8th seed. now we hit the finals, bynum has been antsy and sees what he missed and couldve helped win. he, too, will be hungry next year as each one of these players.

Yep. Great points. No one including me thought we would come anywhere near the finals this year when this season started. I figured we'd make the playoffs but have a difficult time of it. Who could have foreseen the Pau Gasol gift? Who foresaw the dramatic improvement of Bynum, as well as the upswing with Farmar and Sasha?
It's been one hell of a crazy ride this season. Incredible stuff. Can't wait til next year!!! |
