Candace Parker is so hot. I just watched the 2nd half. She owns. Just broke the rookie scoring record and 2 assists away from a triple double. I want her. _________________

Parker comes up huge in crunch time.
Sparks up 3 w/ 4.4 to go. Parker going to the line to shoot two, and the Mercury just got a T. |
The Mercury are just as whiny as their NBA counterparts. _________________ It's the length of one day. One half. One shot clock. This number is my promise to dominate every moment. |

Do I actually start to care about WNBA? Leslie had a big game, too. 17 and 12, 4 steals, 4 blocks, I think. _________________

| I caught bits and pieces of the Sparks game and I must say -- it's the 1st time I've actually enjoyed a WNBA game. Candace Parker is going to be a special talent. |

If anyone could get me to watch the WNBA it's her. That's pretty amazing too, that one single athlete could get me to actually watch. The WNBA is like that though, one star can stand out above the rest and really come in and change the game immediately. Its' not like the NBA where you have to come in and be a rookie and take your lumps, she came right in and dominated. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

Agreed for the most part. To be honest, the only reason I tuned in was to see what Parker was about. I hadn't seen her play for a long period of time prior to today so I felt I had to tune in and see what the hype was all about. She certainly lived up to it. |

Weezy, all of your posts are money as well as Massacre's. Couldn't agree anymore with the both of you. You've both said everything I came in here for & wanted to say.

The great Muhammad Ali was at the game too by the way..so was Robert Sarver & Amare, but I couldn't find a picture of him.

as much as candace is kind of interesting to watch the rest of the games are horrible.
I mean I think it was seattle vs someone and in the 3rd the scoring was still like in the 40s or something. _________________ Strikemode14 is the greatest.

From what I saw in the first game, it looks like the refs let the players get away with a lot of physical play... might have something to do with the scores being so low. _________________ WTB witty sig |

Now that Candace is in LA, maybe she'll get an offer from Playboy.
BTW, why is Becky Hammon playing for Russia this summer? _________________

| Crazy game yesterday in Chicago. Anybody see it? Caught it on NBATV HD, CP3 fouled out in regulation, but the Sparks prevailed in overtime barely. D-Wade was at the game. |

You don't have to have Russian parents to be Russian. It's based on citizenship, the same thing that allowed Arnold to become governor.

Yeah, I realize that... of course she can get naturalized in any country if she wanted to... just interesting since she has no ties to the country, other than them having a spot on their team. _________________ WTB witty sig |
