If anyone cares, the draft is gonna be on in a couple of minutes. Sparks as we know have the first pick and will most likely take back to back national champion Candace Parker. The Sparks are apart of our family, so if you wanna watch the newest edition to it, tune in. _________________

Heck yes, you know I do. See post above you. She isn't that bad looking either for a female athlete, especially pro basketball female athlete, cuz everyone knows there's hardly any.. haha
Can't wait for her to be in a L.A. Sparks uniform with the coaching of our beloved legendary Laker Michael Cooper. _________________ .

What i get a laugh out of is that many talk crap that its just the WNBA, when all of these chicks can most likely ball up 95 % of this board. _________________

Why do they have the draft the day after the chapionship game? Am I the only one who thinks that's a little bit weird? Oh well I hope the sparks dominate with leslie sparks, and whoever else is on that team _________________

People talk crap about the entertainment value being so low. These women are probably the finest female basketball players in the world, but it still is a boring sport to try to watch after you get accustomed to the product the NBA puts out there. _________________

She plays for the Fever now alongside her former Vol teammate Tamika Catchings.. who oddly enough is friends with Kobe since childhood.
Their dads played together on the Sixers. |

Whoops my bad but the Fever and Liberty will play the first outdoor game in the WNBA at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

That's so sick how the Sparks got Candace.
I don't usually watch women's basketball but whenever I see her playing I watch. She's a baller.
Plus, I think she's hot. _________________ "Let me say one more thing about Kobe. He will be the best player in the history of the game. If he keeps doing what he's doing, there is no stopping him. He is that good." - Shaquille O'Neal in his autobiography, "Shaq Talks Back"

This Sparks/Mercury game is more exciting than the Boston/Cleveland games, I'm not joking. Candace Parker doesn't play like your typical WNBA player, she's actually fun to watch. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

Question.
Is the WNBA a 48-minute game now? Just asking, coz the scores are pretty high for 10-minute quarter, 40-minute games. _________________ It's the length of one day. One half. One shot clock. This number is my promise to dominate every moment. |

I'm not sure, I thought it was still 10 min quarters, but I could be wrong. I know these are 2 good teams which is one reason the score is high, but also the WNBA is better in quality than it used to be all around I think. These women can flat out shoot. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

Parker comes up huge in crunch time.
Sparks up 3 w/ 4.4 to go. Parker going to the line to shoot two, and the Mercury just got a T. _________________
