Is Curry, Marbury and Kobe championship material? We would have to screw the 2007 plan. _________________

Yeah but, to be honest who are we going to really get...All the big time FA's will be all locked up by then. I say we start to build now. Marbury gives us a second scoring option we need and Curry gives us a player that we can use to go in and out. I say in a few years when Bynum is ready he can be our PF and Curry center with Mihm coming off the bench. _________________ Strikemode14 is the greatest.

ODOM'S contract sucks too. it's not like his would expire 07, so this wouldn't hurt the 07 plan
Odom/Sasha/miami's first for Starbury/Lee

The trick is to make the trade before he's doing well so the price is lower now that the Lakers don't have the assets to waive infront of teams (Shaq, Caron Butler). Like if LA was high on Channing Frye on draft day, how about a trade - Frye for Bynum and a throw-in like an extra pick or a player.
Now is not the time to trade for Channing Frye. _________________

Before the ever-changing color hair, before the tattoos and the piercings, this is the wildest thing Dennis Rodman would do (1990-1992). At that time, he used to buzz "Wild Thing" into the back of his hair in various different patterns. The Pistons even marketed him that way. I'm not sure if this is in every NBA city, but the Pistons do these features which are very low budget, and extremely popular, setting players highlights to a song. For instance, the Pistons put their 2002-03 highlights "Lose Yourself" by Eminem. In the verse each time it comes around "This opportunity comes once in a lifetime" it shows Tayshaun Prince in his first start, Ben Wallace starting in his first All-Star Game, and Rip Hamilton playing in his first playoff game. So they are a little cheesy, but the energy of the music and the highlights is unexpectedly effective to fans.
This is a long round-about way of saying that the Pistons made one of these videos with Dennis Rodman highlights playing "Wild Thing" by the Troggs.
But this is about Ron Artest, and all I can say is that I have already seen this. Come up with something new that doesn't get you suspended for a season. _________________

I just wanted to point out that Brent Barry is not the first player kiss that David Stern received at a ring ceremony. I know at least of one other player doing it - Isiah Thomas. It wasn't as ferocious, but there is a definite peck. Check out the DVD set of the 25 years of Champions, 1989-90 for the visual. _________________

Whoa I never say anything about Frye...I was saying since Frye is doing so well right now the Knicks would be a little bit more incline to give up Curry. _________________ Strikemode14 is the greatest.

oops missed that
And curry's heart, i'm pretty sure he's fine..the knicks wouldn't risk lawsuit by lettinghim play
but curry's contract does suck
I'd like a deal of Odom and sasha amd maybe miami's for Starbury and Ariza or Starbury and Lee..that would truly benefit us IMO _________________ I SUPPORT THE WHOLE LAKER TEAM NOT JUST CERTAIN PLAYERS: (pm to join) slimjim, Realm of Shadows, KareemTheGreat33, Bballgirl85, DMK, strategos, Kobe#2, Kob3eight, jellyroll49, LALShowtime, Genius GZA, Shooter871, Juronimo |

Here's my thought I've had for a while now regarding my other team, the Raptors: Jalen Rose ruins this young team's chemistry. I just noticed in their last two games and today as well, whenever Rose is on the floor the offense becomes stagnant. Also, Rose doesn't allow Bosh to get any touches.
I mean, if this Raptors losing streak continue, I not only expect Babcock and Mitchell to go but Rose to get traded afterwards. _________________ A legendary day (81 points) - Jan. 22, 2006 vs. Raptors.

Camby can do a lot more than Zo. Zo is just the better shot blocker at this moment of his carrier. He is not that much of an offensive threat anymore and his rebounding is solid but nothing special. BUt 9 blocks are insane _________________

Zo is playing like beast - 9 blocks in 24 minutes!
Blazers rookie Martell Webster is playing very well last games - tonight 10 points in pretty close game, then he had only 3 points, but @ Miami 13 points in 7 minutes... In Miami's game he played in garbage time, but in tonight's game wasn't any kind of garbage time, cuz it was close game...
If he continues to develop, he will turn into greta player. |

I'm sorry, I was just cheering for my fantasy team. I thought Marcus Camby was sitting out last night (both are on my team) and he got enough blocks to cover him. Camby ended up playing. I currently hold a 12-0 lead in blocked shots thanks to Zo!
(Yeah, I wouldn't care, either. Just skip over this post.) _________________

| I've noticed that Knicks are playing very good in 2nd half, when they mostly break the game and turn it into win, if they're trailing. Example - last Saturday vs. 76ers they had 12-15 point deficit all 1st half and a half of 3rd quarter, but in 2nd half they closed the gap and in OT Knicks got win, after excelent Nate Robinson's game winner. Similar situation was tonight - Knicks won 4th quarter by 16 point margin and beat Bull... |

Marcus Camby... the guy who just went for 16 points, 16 boards and 8 blocked shots!!! hahaha madness!! Zo and Camy going at each other for the block title this year. I wonder if either one of them will get a triple double with blocks. lol |

| "Paul Pierce doesn’t believe things are entirely as they appear with Iverson’s reputation for taking big hits. “I think people who just watch the game look at it as more of a physical thing than it really is,” said Pierce. “I think he’s a great actor also. You know, like when he comes off the screen and the big man hedges and he falls to the ground and gets to the free throw line? He played football. He’s a natural athlete. He knows how to fall.” Boston Herald |

Highlights of the Night
-Ariza posterizing Big Ben
-Rip's season high game...big 40
-Zo's 7 blocks in 34 minutes
-the worst matchup of the season. Hawks vs Raptors. Entering the game, the two teams had only won 3 games combined. Hawks manage to lose to the worst game in the NBA. Charlie V has a game winning layup. It was actually the matchup in NBA history with combine records, just saw something on that on Sportcenter. JJ scores a career high 34 points.
-Mo Williams had a career night. 35 points, including a game winner against the Wiz. tonight.
-Pierce's 43 points on 21 attempts. First 40+ point game in two years.
-Suns comeback from 17 down at the half to beat Nuggets. Eddie House had 9 straight points in the final two minutes.
-Camby...another amazing one. 33 points, 20 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals, and 2 assists in the loss. _________________

First 40+ point game in two years
Man Peirce could get 40 on any given night. In the last 2 years he really stopped just scoring and has learned to play team ball.
Camby was insane again
And Zo get blocks like other people points. Its ridiculous. _________________

It's because of one man. BARON DAVIS. If he's not the starting PG of the ASG, then there will be something wrong w/ fan voting.
And if you've wathched the warriors, their defense hasn't been bad either. At one point they were 2nd in the league in opponent FG%. They dont' have individual good man on man defenders, but their team defense is pretty good. And Foyle is truly having a breakout season. A DPOY candidate imo. his defense has really been one of the keys this eyar. putting up 5 pts, 7 reb 2 blk. yeah, he gets 8 million, but i think 8 million for that production is more worth it htan 5 million for Jerom James 0 and 0 production _________________ I SUPPORT THE WHOLE LAKER TEAM NOT JUST CERTAIN PLAYERS: (pm to join) slimjim, Realm of Shadows, KareemTheGreat33, Bballgirl85, DMK, strategos, Kobe#2, Kob3eight, jellyroll49, LALShowtime, Genius GZA, Shooter871, Juronimo |
