1st one 10/10! great picks. u picked up a lot of sleepers as well.

2nd one 7/10. mainly because of the diaw pick. he probably one of the biggest crapshoots of this years fantasy draft. i dont see mike james producing with davis and garnett in the house. you last 3 picks werent very good.

Yeah, my last three were questionable. But I could pretty easily exchange them for guys on waivers. Like I said, I don't like my Posey pick. I should have taken a couple other guys instead.

Also, keep in mind that I had the #1 pick, so I had to wait out something like 24 picks before I got my second-rounder. Diaw should put up similar numbers this season, and I like his center eligibility.

As for the first league, I got there late and I auto'ed pretty much half my team. I don't really want to keep J-Rich, but I'm not sure where I should go in terms of dealing him. I need some more 3pt shooting and he's probably my best in that category aside from Korver.

Okay everyone stand back and allow the master to weigh in on these teams:

(For the Record: I just started playing FB last season after 4 years of FF, so it's not completely my expertise, but it ain't rocket science)

^For an 11-team league with the sixth pick I have to say that you made out quite well. That's a solid team from top to bottom. They're gonna get you some points in a lot of different ways. You've got some guys that will rebound quite well in addition to filling up the basket. You probably won't notch too many assists with these guys, but that's only one aspect. My one hesitation to crown this team with an "A" rating would be due to the health concerns of JO & Boozer. Other than that I really like your team. With some good fortune you should be able to make some noise in this league.

FINAL GRADE: A-

I have to say that I'm not as impressed with the strength of this team. Most of that is due to the fact that its a more watered-down league (having 13 teams instead of 11). Having the 1st pick was nice and of course you can't go wrong with LeBron and his constant triple-double type games. I'm primarily concerned with your frontcourt. Diaw's production will go down now that Amare is back and taking away a chunk of his scoring. It looks as though you'll just have to hope for higher than expected production from underachievers like Curry, Kwame, & Marvin Williams. It's tough having the 1st pick cuz in the draft you're the last pick in the next round, so you pick twice in a row and then don't pick for another 24.

FINAL GRADE: C+

Thanks JSJ. Yeah, I need some work with my second team. I don't have one particularly good rebounder. Just a bunch of average to above average rebounders. I need some more scoring, rebounding, and threes.

My first team is full of sleepers and potential breakout players. Hopefully they pan out, or I'll have a lot of work cut out for me.

^That's the fun of it though. Going into the season I didn't have that great of a feel for my FF team, but guys like Bulger & Willie Parker are guiding my team to the promised land.

Good luck! jam2

Thanks.

I'm really banking on Josh Smith having a breakout season. Something to the tune of what he was putting up in the second half of last season.

Curry and Kwame have lots to prove this season. They're pretty much the backbone of my center spot lol, aside from Diaw.

*Fingers crossed* lol

You could move Wade to SG, and trade J-Rich for a PG. I'd look at getting JKidd, Billups, or Felton + 3pt shooter.

I think you did a better job with your first team.

Jefferson was a very good pick in the 11th round.

Your second tem could use a bit of work, even though your first 3 guys can put up triple doubles.

So IMO

1st team>> 2nd team.

Good job on it.

Thanks for your input Massacre. If I may trouble you though... what kind of work on my second team? I'm up for any suggestions. I feel like I need a proven big man and some 3pt shooting.

Also, keep in mind that my second team is a 13 team league, wheras my first team is an 11 team league.

Just adding your team for my own reference.
League 2 (13 Teams) 1st Pick

LeBron James -
Boris Diaw
Josh Smith
Mike James
Charlie Villanueva
T.J. Ford
Marvin Williams
Kevin Martin
Kwame Brown
Eddy Curry
James Posey
Luke Walton
Anderson Varejao

<b>
-First thing I noticed, which is a rule that I have, never have a teams entire rotation for a position on your team. You violate that rule with Josh Smith and Marvin Williams. They will be splitting minutes, so I would advise you get rid of one of them, (i'd try and find someone that is high on Marvin for this year and trade him).
-Who is on waivers? I personally don't think Varejao should be on anyones team. Maybe get someone else off of waivers.

Right now I'd say your team lacks some experienced rebounders, someone who you know will get you X amount of rebounds every night.

You also really lack 3pt shooting.

I'd recommend trading Mike James, Boris Diaw, Eddie Curry, Marvin Williams and James Posey.

PS- What is your roster positions layout (how many PGs, SGs, G, F's, Cs, UTILs, and stuff in your league?)

From what I gather, Josh and Marvin are both in the starting lineup, with Josh at the small and Marvin at the power.

Getting rid of Mike James wouldn't be beneficial for my lack of 3pt shooting.

I do agree I need a proven big man who can rebound. I also need some scoring as well.

Posey was a bad pick for me. I was rushed, and picked someone randomly.

I think Varejao is going to be play a big role for Cleveland. He'll be challenging Gooden for minutes. He doesn't really score, but he puts up decent defensive numbers.

Like I said before, my second team is comprised of a lot of "unsures". I'm banking on those guys breaking out and having great seasons. I should have gottena more reliable big man. That's just bad drafting on my part.

Well like you said you need a big man. Also some 3 PT shooting.

Of course you should keep LeBron, and try to trade some other guys who have value (James, Diaw, Smith, Ford).

Charlie Villanueva is antoher guy who should play well this season, now that Bogut will miss some time.

And look at the undrafted players, you can find a couple of guys in there that should help.

Good luck. bow

I like this team in H2H better than roto.

I'd look for more 3's and assists.

don't like Diaw as your 2nd pick, and primary BIG. He doesn't give enough big man stats - more suited as a C in H2H "small ball" teams.

You don't have strong PG's or Bigs - that's not a good sign (weak in assists, 3's, blocks, reb)
