Biggest three things I disagree with:
-Walker at 27. With his knee injury I think he lost any chance he had of going in the 1st round. Pistons had a good deal of interest in him, so they could take him. But if Dumars is smart he'll trade to the 2nd round and take him.
-Tomic in the 1st round. He doesn't have a large buyout but we will see a lot of Euros go early in the 2nd round and late 1st round teams trading out of the 1st round if they want one. Why? Because 2nd round picks aren't bound by the same salary structure that 1st round picks are. Allowing them to give them a contract that allows them to pay for their buyout and not spend all of their first year's salary.
-Westbrook to NY. They need a PG but I think they will either trade down or go for a bit of a reach (if they can't trade) and take Augustin. He's is a much better fit in D'Antoni's system and a the playmaker he's going to need. Westbrook is a better defender but since when has D'Antoni ever been interested in D?
Other than that...
-Rush is impressing a lot of folks. I think his stock is on the rise.
-Ajinca could go a little earlier. I think he will go before Robin Lopez. It really depends on his buyout situation. I bet teams wish he would have waited until next year, because he wouldn't have a buyout in 09.
-I have no idea where McGee is going to wind up. He didn't look good in camp and he's performed very poorly in his workouts. _________________
