I would like to create a thread dedicated to some players you might be trying to move because of their hot starts and inflated stats.

Right now I am trying to move Mike Miller. I like the guy, but something tells me that he might come back to earth so to speak. I see the Griz giving more playtime to Gay, and motivating him and Warrick to step up their role to see what they got.

Of course when Pau comes back all griz players' values take a hit. Right now I have offered Miller for Josh Smith. I hope the owner goes for it cause I am salivating about Smith's second half potential.

Other players I think are worth buying low are (at the top of my head):
Josh Howard
Nocioni
Marbury
Kaman
G. Wall
Felton

Yea i've been trying to get Kaman for cheap in some of my league.

Also in a sense Elton brand could be considered a buy-low, because he should improve as the season progresses.

You could take a swing at Kevin Martin, most likely won't be able to get him tho.

For some reason everyone in my league overrates their guys. I offered Zach Randolph for Emeka Okafor and the dude counter offered Emeka Okafor for Zach Randolph AND Yao Ming. The hell kinda ish is that.

I think that's a nice buy low. He should be turning the corner soon. Who did you give up?

Wanted to bump this.... I need some advice on some buy-low guys to look for. And some guys that are hot right now.

Raymond Felton, David Lee, Earl Boykins have all done good lately. I picked up Boykins after the suspensions, but I want to get rid of him now with AI coming back. I'm looking to see if I can find someone to take him.

Who else are buy-low, sell-high guys right now?

David Lee is at an all-time high right now. I just got offered Caron Butler for him, and I obviously took it.

buy low: chris bosh, iverson, ray allen, dirk, lewis, melo.

they are all injuried/not playing right now... but proven studs... really depends on the buyer, if he's willing to hold onto his injuried star while they heal.(in melo's case... wait for the suspension). it's probably too late to buy low on iverson...

sell high: ZO, lee, tinsley, biedrins, jr smith.

performing nicely... but i do not see these guys keeping up at the pace they are going.

HAHA I remembered that I sent him a trade about a week ago, that he rejected and it was Webber for Caron.

What about some uninjured players that are buy low?

I have Zo, who should I look to trade for him? Maybe Bogut?

just offer ZO to a owner desperate for blocks.

a lot of owners will overpay for cats they are desperate in.

just fire away and hope for the best.

can't put a price on ZO, he can be worth nothing for a owner who has blocks locked... but be worth gold for someone desperate for them.

Brand, mo pete, richard jefferson are other buy low candidates.

Slimjim, do you think Pau is a buy-low guy? Should I trade Webber for him?

NO. Pau is not a buy low anymore. He had 28/9 in 27 minutes yesterday. he is back.

Webber for Pau would be a great deal for ya.

Getting a proven stud is a great trade. I like this a lot as Redd is the type of guy who excels early on then falls off a bit. Wallace will definitely get better, but getting Wade for the two is huge. Nice deal.

DID 2 SEPERATE TRADES WITH THE SELL HIGH IN MIND

TRADE 1
SEND
GERALD WALLACE
BEN WALLACE

RECEIVE
D WADE
LUKE WALTON

TRADE 2 (NEEDED TO GET MY BLOCKS BACK)
SEND
REDD
WILCOX

RECEIVE
CAMBY

THE LAST TRADE I DID YOU ALL THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY GIVING OAKAFOR AND MONTA ELLIS FOR DUNCAN, I STILL THINK I GOT THE BETTER END OF THAT AS OAKS BLOCKS HAVE FALLEN OFF THE MAP AND TIMMY HAS BEEN MR CONSISTANCY

REDD AND WILCOX MIGHT SEEM LIKE OVERPAY, BUT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE AVERAGES CAMBY IS THE 6 PLAYER IN FANTASY, HE IS BLOCK MACHINE AND THAT WILL ONLY GET BETTER WITH THE GAMBLER AI ON DEFENSE. REDD IS WAY WAY WAY OVER RATED, HE GIVES VERY LITTLE OUTSIDE OF SCORING, MUCH LIKE BEN GORDON WHO I AM ALSO LOOKING TO UNLOAD.....YOUR THOUGHTS
NOW IM LOOKING TO JUMP ON ANOTHER INJURED PLAYER AND GET VALUE ANYONE KNOW WHEN PEJA IS DUE BACK, IM CONSIDERING OFFERING BEN GORDON FOR HIM IF HE IS DUE BACK SOON ENOUGH

the redd for camby is a bad deal IMO.

redd's been awesome this year. (he gives 3s, percents, stls, low TOs and very consistant)

even if you personally think redd suxx... offering him for camby is not a buy low.

I got offered Tracy McGrady and JR Smith for Okafor. Definitely a huge buy-low trade, but I don't think I want to take the chance on T-Mac. Opinions?

if okafor is your only blocker...don't do it.

if you have a few and can afford to lose a blocker... i'd take the chance.
