Yeah, DMK. I'm not sure what to make of the question of discounting Rose's performance as a player because of his actions as a manager, even if he was a player/manager (which I think he was). Tough call.

Bonds could be a 500/500 guy without roids, but like you said, he probably wouldn't be where he is now.

exactly. people forget just how great of a player bonds was before the big homerun craze. was he an A-hole? heck yes... was he a great player? Without a doubt.

But if Raffy Palmeiro would do roids with just a few Hit's to go to join the 3,000 hit club.... then anything is possible in my book. man5

This is turning into more and more of a witchhunt as this progresses. They won't be satisfied until they nail him with something. But what if there is really nothing to nail him with?
