Key Matchups for the game:
1. The most important matchup for the game, in my opinion, will be our much improved Bynum vs. Chris Kaman. Both have shown tremendous improvement. Kaman has stepped it big time ever since Brand went out. He's averaging: 18.6ppg, 13.80rpg, amd 2.82bpg. Therefore, getting him into early foul trouble will be a priority.
Truly, I expect nothing less than a victory tonight. The Clippers are really short-handed. Brand, Cassell, and Livinston are out. It's still questionable whether Thomas will suit up or not.
It looks like Kobe will be available tonight. Then again, I really wanted to see our team play and show what they're made of without Kobe. Really, I think Kobe should sit this one out because playing tonight could only cause a longer-term problem. Even without him, we'd have a good chance to win.
PS: I am really confident about this game. It'll be up to the Lakers to do their part.....

| Yeah this is gonna be fun. Concerned how we'll stop Kaman and Corey. If we slow either one, its a blowout for the Lakeshow. Tim Thomas has been slow lately I'm not looking for a big game outta him (since he's on my fantasy team I know he stinks right now). Kobe will play, probably rain a few 3's early, then coast. Not looking for Kobe to attack the rack too much. Overall, Lakes by 8+.... |
