mad1 mad1 mad1 bang bang

We put so much energy on this comeback that I think we'll be really tired for tmrw's game. Kobe played 40+ mins. tonight and did everything he could.

They better get ready for GSW's crowd tmrw their gonna be stoked @ the way they won this game.

DAMN, stupid phil... stupid luke.. mad1 man2 man2

C'mon, I know we're mad here, but this loss was on Phil's shoulders.

Play Turiaf and we win. We were KILLING them with screen-roll.

Plus this team isn't even close to healthy.

I'm mystified why Phil decided to play Luke and not ronny down the stretch. Just mind boggling.

exactly, why change things up when it was working so well? freak2

yes i know that farmar played bad D. but at least he was contributing offensively and would be smart enough to play close to shooter. what was fish thinking?

and what about sasha? i swear he is our best crunch time defender at 1.

Throw health out the door. The Lakers are only as good as the players that suit up and play for them.

Woulda coulda shoulda's do not count.

A healthy Magic & Scott in 89 could've helped and so could have a healthy Malone in 04...

Nobody cares about who's hurt. Only who's playing.
Except for the fact that this team is playoff bound and will get both Bynum & Gasol back before the playoffs.

man3

Only to see someone else get hurt, or will you blame kobe's finger for any shortcomings?

It's easy to use an excuse for defeat but giving up 72 points at halftime was the reason they lost this game. You might be able to overcome a Grizzlies team at home by doing that, but not a playoff team.

they were playing 3-2 zone and fisher had to cover both monta and sjax

I believe his point is if we play them in the 1st round and we have Bynum and Gasol we will destroy them down low. I don't think he's making an excuse for this game, he's saying he's not worried for the future against them.

You know as soon as Ronny went out I was thinking, "Uh oh", and of course here comes Luke trotting into the game. I honestly dunno what Phil is thinking.

A championship team would have won this game. What this tells me is that we aren't quite there yet.

Players that need to be exiled in the 4th quarter, Luke+Radman. Neither can play a lick of defense and it killed us down the stretch. It's times like this where Ariza or even Newble would be key. They could lessen the load on Kobe and let Kobe stay on Baron or Jackson, forcing them to go to Ellis.

Fisher is the one who blew it. He sagged off Jackson for no reason on his second 3 and let him have a WIDE-OPEN look. There wasn't even any dribble penetration.

awesome box and 1 defense (or was it 3-2?)
i mean, the lakers are so reliable when it comes to closing out on shooters....

"defense wins championchips" and this team as a contender doesn't seem very fitting... glad we're getting pau and especially drew back. But even then it's on luke, fish and those guys to STAY OUT ON SHOOTERS!

Yeah it could've been worse. We could've got beat by a classless piece of trash.

Whatever, Sjax wasn't doing anything out there on the floor I would consider classless. Either way it wasn't his fault he was left wide open down the stretch. Its like nobody bothered to read the scouting report for this game.

yeah, the loss is on phil, fisher and walton.

first, i don't even understand why fisher and walton were in. is phil senile today?

and worst of all, fisher's D is atrocious. i repeat. ATROCIOUS

Well Fish did bring us back in the game. But he was worried more about the drive from Baron rather than the three. He had a defensive lapse there.

This is pathetic.
Same. If we don't beat the living hell outta them tommorrow in oakland with kobe taunting the crowd after our record setting blowout and popping his jersey, I think I'll go ballistic.

Ah, thanks Weezy i get it...

But right now Golden State isn't who we'd face in the first round. Thanks to the lakers poor play and porous defense they are now the #2 seed, and NO doesn't really have a tough go anytime soon.

the worst part is we gotta go to oakland tommorow after draining out so much energy with the comeback

i cant believe they let a deadly 3 point shooter like stephen jackson get 2 WIDE OPEN THREES!!!!

let them get a 2...we can still tie it

but those threes killed us mad1 mad1

Prepare for a tough one at Oracle.

The Lakers will hopefully come out and ready to play like they did against Dallas and Jazz.

It's gonna be crazy tomorrow.

thats gonna be tough...the fans at oracle are nuts. tehy are going to be jacked up for the game and we might come out slow against them again. im hoping they have a bad shooting night or something cuz then we have a good shot of getting an early lead.
