NBA.com: The reigning league MVP coming off a disappointing 4-2 loss in the NBA Finals was the focus of much of the media in attendance. When the team was getting ready to break its huddle at the end of practice and U.S.A. Basketball PR man Craig Miller informed them that they could split up the time into two groups or all be available together, LeBron quipped, "Better make it two. One for Kobe and one for everybody else."

Bryant addressed a variety of topics including recovering from The Finals disappointment, comparing a championship to a big glass of water -- "Your throat is just parched and you're ready to drink it and all of the sudden you knock it over and it spills all over the place … the glass gets refilled and you get a chance to drink it all again, you know what I mean? That's the kind of feeling I'm looking forward to."

He also said that the finger on his shooting hand is "still sore," that this he has "never been on a team this good," that he plans to meet up with Spain's Pau Gasol during the the Olympics to get dinner and talk, and that in order to win, "We're going to focus on defensive rebounding. That tends to win championships and international competition shouldn't be any different."
