Probably the best comedy on TV right now ... there's some episodes on the web they've done over the summer but haven't watched them yet.

I don't like the original version at all. Doesn't suit my sense of humor.

This show is awesome (along with My Name is Earl). The exchanges between Dwight and Jim are classic. The episode where they go back and read all of Dwight's complaints on Jim in the past is easily my favorite episode.

Emmy nominated. Grammy is for music.

My favorite character is Dwight. I also like Pam and Jim... I wonder what's going to happen with them next season.

I can't really watch the US version anymore. I've seen maybe four or five episodes. It's vastly inferior to the original. In fact, it's so far removed from the cleverness of the BBC version that it's a completely different (dumbed down) entity.

I wouldn't say it's dumbed down, just more suited to an American's style of humor. Ok, maybe it is. man10

It's not just slapstick humor, but it really has a bit lower brow to it than the UK version does. I don't HATE the US version, mind you. I laughed at it a fair amount. I just think that the boss, which is a clever parody in the UK version, is reduced to an overreacting (and overacting) oaf in the US version.

I like the US version. I can't understand the British accents on the original. I hope the next season isn't all about Pam and Jim again. It was interesting for a while, until every damn episode ended the same way for what seemed like 12 weeks(Awkward moment between the two).

I prefer the original and i own the box set on DVD. I think its much more well done, and ia gree with kopro 100% on the boss.

I still like the US version, but in smaller doses. I think I catually prefer Dwight to Garrett though. When Jim put all his belongings in the vending machine...including his wallett, and handed him a bag of nickels....hilarious.
