Wow!
Was Pau really that bad in the game? I couldn't watch it. Boozer also appears in heavily negative numbers. Perhaps they both canceled each other out.

Statistically yes Gasol was our best and efficient player.

Oh man, Kobe on the bottom. If a couple of bounces went our way and a handful of ticky tack fouls weren't called, we would've had a different outcome. Amazing to see Kobe being the "worst player" and yet we were RIGHT THERE. Definitely encouraging.

Nah, actually I didn't like him tonight. My brother and I were watching the game together and we were talking about how weak he looked all night. Then again we were complaining about every single player, I don't think any of our guys played well. Maybe the pressure of being in the finals is taking a toll on them. We also talked about Kobe being unusually off, which also ended up reflecting in the numbers.

Bad game overall, I'm surprised that it was even close

reasons could be

1) Hostile environment playing a critical game. Intimidated by the big stage.

2) Boston is obviously more physical...next to Utah this is the most physical team

3) Rust...the long layoff from our last game played

4) Feeling each other's game out and trying to find tendencies and patterns in moves and sets run

I think we'll be fine in game 2...we should steal that one

Kobe was furious and he said he missed shots he usually makes and I agree.

Vlad sucked to begin the game (picking up chippy fouls and letting Paul Pierce get easy baskets) and then he sucked in the 3rd quarter (hoisted up 3 uncontested shtos and missed them early in the shot clock) and also had one turnover as well

he was dynamite in the fourth quarter though...he helped out with the spacing, the three point shooting, rebounding and defense (picked up a couple of steals I believe)

Yeah, I agree with MDI. It's kind of hard to judge Vlade in this game, he had ups and downs. His statline doesn't look too bad either. I don't know, I guess it's one of those cases where one could argue that the ranking should be slightly positive or slightly negative.

Overall the Celtics chances of success average to .555 for the last 3 games and the Lakers chances average out to .444 during the last 3 games. This seems to be favoring the Lakers because instead of Boston's chances of success being .666 or higher since they won 2 of 3 games, it's actually lower. Considering that the Lakers only win happened to only be only by 6 points, it's pretty interesting. So even though the Celtics are up 2-1, they are closer to 1.25-1 according to the Powergriz statistics.
