I thought this would help boost traffic in this forum. We could definitely use a B12 shot of fun in this place, because so far, it's not living up to potential. Most of us know each other well, and there's no reason why this forum should slack as much as it is. _________________

What were your impressions of the game today?
- I think the Machine is here to stay. Not a contract year performance at all.... the kid can PLAY.
- Odom is fantastic lately. I used to think he wasn't the SF for this team. He might not be, because I would rather have a lock down defender who can hit the 3 ball (like a Battier), but he still is playing great. _________________

I've been really impressed with Lamar and Vlads play recently. They both seem to be working hard and doing things we don’t normally see from them. Lamar’s defense has been MUCH improved and I thought Vlad was passing the ball great tonight. My only concern is whether they will maintain that kind of play and carry it into the postseason. If they do and we get healthy we will be a very tough team to beat. _________________ "Its just a matter of time guys. Bynum WILL be a star in this league, I can promise you that."-Lakerman91

Lamar has always played great in the postseason. He's a career 18/10 guy shooting 47% with a block per. But playing against Marion for 2/3 of that experience might help those numbers - he's always played well against him.
Lamar will make-or-break our run. If his shot isn't working, he needs to do other things to make this team win. _________________

What Lamar hasn’t always done well is shoot from the perimeter. He has been shooting well lately but when he makes the switch to SF he's going to have to do a lot more of that in order to spread the floor. It also remains to be seen how well he's going to handle guarding quicker 3's. It's going to be interesting to see how that works out. _________________ "Its just a matter of time guys. It's a thai kickboxing movie called Ong Bak. The movie is cheap, the kickboxing is top notch though. _________________

How bout some pre-incident venting....
I'm playing on a basketball team in a totally non-talented league because some friends talked me into it. It's not like everyone sucks, but its pretty low quality ball, they only have one ref for each game too so there are SO many missed calls. I pretty much just try to setup everyone else on my team because they are guys who have very little basketball experience so its a lot of fun for them. I mean I'm no pro, but I can hold my own in the top level leagues, so this is just kind of a chance for more exercise and nothing more for me.
Well we have a game at 8am this morning (shows you how crappy the league is, who has games at 8am on a saturday?). I know my team or the other team will be short guys and it will be a forfeit, but I have to show.
So annoying, I should be sleeping in. _________________ idk my BFF Jill?

I'm a long time martial arts movie fan and Ong Bak is top ten all time. Did you see Tony Jaa's second release here? The fight scenes were even more amazing. _________________ "Better learn not to talk to me," Bryant said of Smith's jabbering. "You shake the tree, a leopard's gonna fall out."

Just got back from church (Christian).
We had a really good time. The sermon was great.
I think this was the first time I had gone to a Christian Church in like 12 years.
Some things I didn't agree with, but nothing that would stop me from enjoying the sermon. I'm not really surprised though, I thought it would be good. _________________ Sweet Daddy Barnstable's Bad A** Broads:

Here is the second film, The Protector.

Tony Jaa does not have Bruce Lee's charisma, but his movies are the closest thing I've seen to Bruce Lee level, except with an entirely different style. _________________ "Better learn not to talk to me," Bryant said of Smith's jabbering. "You shake the tree, a leopard's gonna fall out."

The movies Jaa has been in have been solid martial arts films. The fight scenes are very well done, but sometimes it gets pretty gruesome. I remember one fight where he used elephant bones as weapons. yikes. _________________
