RIGHT you are. I've been watching pro sports for a long time. Only in Bball. Unless you call wrestling a pro sport. |
NBA has a big problem...I come from a sports family, my folks used to love the Lakers, but they won't even watch basketball now.

refs had nothing to do with it. Well obviously they did since they reffed the game, but the Lakers scored 12 points in the 4th quarter.
12 omg.
The refs didnt make Bynum miss those free throws.
Or Kobe miss that 3.
Its our own fault we lost. |
Or the ability to grab the defensive boards. This loss is more on the players not rebounding than the refs. |

If we're going to really put a blame on someone, it needs to be Phil.
He's the one who lost that game and that stretch when the Cavs gone 9-0 to start the quarter is what decided the game.
Mind boggling rotations as well. Just a terribly coached game. |

We played horrible, gave up too many rebounds, too many turnovers, too many second chance points for Cleveland. And after all that we were still in it until the ref made that call. That was a call based on the reaction, Gibson fell, so the ref calls a foul without considering the situation and that it wasn't a foul. _________________ GoalLineBlitz (Manute Bol- LB) http://goallineblitz.com/game/signup.pl?ref=298765

I don't like this feeling...I don't like when the refs decide the outcome of the game.
I'd rather just win or lose on play. |
the turning point when the refs made the horrible call when Fisher obviously had the ball first.
what I hate seeing is them smile, they just got luckey, they aren't gonna win any more then 40 so I don't know what they are happy about.
Wow you beat the Lakers with the refs basically on your side, giving all the flops, and loosball fouls.
Face the Lakers three more times and see what happens.
Im so angry when do the Lakers play the Cavs again? _________________ There are so many emotions at the end of the season, nobody likes to talk about it. There's no guarantee the Lakers win even if the refs didn't call that.
Bottom line, this was the game for the Lakers to win.
There's no excuse for them just throwing it away. Blaming everyone else is just avoiding the problem. This time, Phil was at fault. |

Refs blew this game away. Loose ball foul on Fisher was ridiculous, he got hold of the ball with 2 hands and Gibson just banged into him. That caused us the game.
Seriously... Verajao is annoying. He just annoys me everytime he goes for the offensive board. Their their bench mob did blew us out. _________________

ouch ouch ouch. oh well, brush it off, move on, let's win out on this trip. _________________

Phil has cost the Lakers about 5 games due to bad situational coaching, or lack there of........ How do you let a team go on a 16-0 run and not make any substitutions???? One of his assitants needs to put some damn smelling salts under that old farts nose and wake him up .....
This team is young, so you need to coach for 4 quarters not 3...... I'm starting to question if Phil has the energy to coach anymore ...... Sometimes he just sits there with a blank look on his face |

Worthy is right, they didn't go inside at all at the end of the game, all 3's no execution, no timeouts when we needed them. Bad job by the players and coaches in this one. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

| Refs had little to do with that loss. The Lakers were just simply outrebounded. Kobe's been off most of the games except when they play against the really crappy teams. I think if we had kwame out there, there would've been more turnovers. But he would've helped with the rebounding. |

This is in no way Phil's fault...lmao at those remarks. The Lakers just missed all their shots down the stretch as well as failing to box out and not give up 2nd chance points. That call by the refs didn't help, but that was just the nail in the coffin. We should have never allowed Cleveland back into the fuking game. We had an 11 point lead...and we blew it.

And another call that I don't see getting brought up was when Kobe stood his ground in the backcourt when I believe, Daniel Gibson was taking up the ball. Kobe stood his ground, Gibson runs into Kobe, and they call a block on Kobe. Someone please explain how that wasn't a charge. _________________

That was a no call in normal situations, but not when the Lakers play the Cavs. _________________

I called this one a mile away. The reason they were killing us on the offensive boards was dirty play by Varejao that wasn't getting called. A lot of pushing, over the backs that were simply being let go.
That last call on Fisher was hilarious...but par for the course.
But of course, we'll have a crew of douches who'll show up and say it wasn't the refs and that it was all Kobe's fault for being off. |
