LOL lamar padding his stats. He will probably get his own appreciation thread because he thought he would have 21 instead of 19 mhihi

Kobe and Lamar were both great tonight. Kobe was fantastic, he needs to just take those shots, just like Phil told him, just take the shots, that's the Kobe we need, we need him to be Kobe. Play d and score. Lamar got it going early and was a true 2nd guy tonight, just what we needed.

I was impressed with Bynum despite his foul trouble.

He still scored 12 points and 10 rebounds. Last year, Bynum's confidence would sink once he got into foul trouble. Now he goes back to business once he goes back onto the court.

Wonderful job by Fish tonight. He was quietly the 2nd best player on the court.

Great game for Kobe. Glad to see him back in old form.

Once Bynum gets stronger and has more stamina, we will be a very dangerous team.

That fourth foul on Drew was utter bullcrap...nice game by him nevertheless, he is keeping the team afloat in many ways. The team is literally on life support out there with Mihm.

Kobe didn't seem too impressed with the win in the postgame....can't say I blame him. They played well enough to beat the second worst team in the West....yay.

The second unit stunk it up in the first half, but sort of made up for it on their second stint.

Luke is playing like crap, I'd rather see Ariza out there, it can't get any worse than watching Luke drive to the hoop and get pwned. Vlad still playing like crap....he's in a shooting slump and he's scared to shoot now. Bad sign. He shouldn't be starting.

Good bounce back by Farmar, but Phil still has way too quick a hook with him, meanwhile Luke puts up a stinkfest out there, was a key reason a five point lead became a 7 point deficit in the second quarter, but gets to keep playing.
Phil's faith in Luke is indomitable.

Luke's earned it. Phil is not a fickle guy, he's seen over the years what Luke can do. A few bad games, even a dozen bad games, isn't going to phase the deep comprehension that Phil has for Luke's game.

Like blowing it on defense consistently?

For someone who puts heavy emphasis on PER stats and 82games.com, why would you defend Walton? He has no defense whatsoever...

haha nah.. i meant it for a sequence down near the end of the game where kobe had to shoot two free throws.. in yesterdays celts/cavs game.. he ray ray missed two crucial free throws and they went to overtime.. had he made even just 1, they would've won. a rare chokejob indeed by ray ray. he was not Jesus yesterday.
