yeah, i was pretty impressed with the announcers, they were professional and even called it when refs didnt call fouls against sac players. not like them losers called the portland announcers, they have to be the worst in the NBA

They are such a great crew compared to those dumb butts in Portland.

jam2 Give them some credit. During close games like this, a lot of frustration comes out. These guys were obviously heartbroken, but they kept their cool and were professional.

Let's give them a hand.

Wow! this is probably the first game we won that we should have lost. So this is what it feels like to steel a game mhihi

There was a Derek Fisher Sighting.
Pau proved his worth.
Kobe finished strong
Luke 3/13,Farmar, and Vlade flat out sucked.

Totally agree. I mean, there was one foul where even Artest held on to Kobe to make sure he didn't get hurt. I thought that was really classy.

I don't think I could have kept my cool blowing a lead like that.

Definitely an interesting game, bad effort for about 3 and 1/2 quarters, but I'll take a W any day of the week.

I think the Lakers went on a 25-4 run to finish off the 4th. That's very impressive especially since the Kings were scoring at will for 3 and a half quarters.

They just turned on the defense! Is the light switch coming back?

Three double doubles for Lakers tonight. Well done.

Kobe 34-10-3-2 steals
Pau 31-10-4-3 blocks-2 steals
Odom 19-12-3

And Fisher comes back with 17 points, 6 assists, 3 steals

Also. This game shows that we can be frustrated with the team without completely damning them and giving up on them, guaranteeing a loss. Thats just silly. We all get frustrated, but we never give up. If Kobe and Gasol gave up as easy as some of us we would have 19 losses right now.

Glad you are not a writer because that is completely wrong.

I'll help you:

Team defense sucked for 3.5 qtrs

Team defense picked up .5 qtrs

Kobe is a God in the 4th

thanks puffy for the edit job, I was a bit tired

I wasn't refering to you, you must not have been in this thread earlier. There was another poster that said he hoped we would lose by 30 because we weren't playing well, I was poking fun. I was agreeing with what you said, we need games like this, this is how it's gonna be if we have to play San Antonio in the playoffs.

Weezy, you wanna quote the actual post?

If I'm not mistaken, the actual post said "If we're going to lose .... I hope we lose by 30" didn't it?

Why would you lie and say the OP said he/she hoped to lose by 30? Why would you do that?

Bleh, get back to me when you learn that games aren't over in the 2nd quarter and there's still another half to be played. You want to give up on the team that early fine, but the negativity doesn't help the gameday thread.

This was such a great win for the Lakers. They played so poorly on both ends for 3 1/2 quarters and turned it on at the snap of a finger for that final stretch in the 4th. They played great, lockdown defense. In particular Kobe and Pau. And on offense those two made it happen.

Ron played the best defense that I've seen anyone play against Kobe all season long and Kobe scored on Ron like he was Chucky Atkins.
