Oh brother…they lost by 7 with a 2nd string QB AT Oregon who at the time were on the big time roll…went to Cal and won, went to Arizona St, who were ranked, put a beatdown on them and closed the show against another ranked team in the Rose Bowl…but I guess, that doesn’t constitute them as playing as good as anyone else |

| Please dont tell me anyone here thinks SC should get a "share" of the National Title. As much of a Joke as getting a "share" is, SC wouldn't even be the first in line. Georgia has been playing the best football as of late. Even Virginia Tech, Missouri, and Oklahoma could make as good of a case. |

Alot of people think that 2nd string is better than the first string. Even if not it wasn't a considerable drop off in talent. Cal?the team that finishes 7-6 and squeeked out a win against Navy in a bowl game. ASU? who got beat by a mediocore Texas team, pretenders all season long, Illinois doesn't help your case all that much either, obviously. So that is what "we are the best team right now" based on? _________________ <a><img></a>

From Notre Dame on we started playing good football. Yeah we lost to Oregon, by a touchdown with alot of our players hurt, and Oregon was the hottest team in college football at the time.
Pretty much our second half of the season was when we started playing good football. Our last five games, we showed how good of a team we could be.
I dont know why it is so hard for you to understand that USC is probally playing the best football right now. Doesnt mean we are saying they deserve the national title, it doesnt mean we are invincible, it just means we were one of a few teams playing the best football. _________________

Sorry I guess I got a bit off course somewhere, I agree that USC is playing good ball now. But I would group TOSU, LSU, OU, Missouri, and Kansas/Vatech in the same class. _________________ <a><img></a>

Good game man....what you did with that lateral was impressive. Heads up play.....just don't get caught from behind next time. |
We're so greedy.
I was just impressed that a Freshman had the head to realize that it was a lateral instead of stopping on the play by assuming the incomplete pass. Add to the fact that he cut through the D for 60+ yards on top of it and I really can't ask for much more. |
Again, GREAT GAME JOE! YOU THE MAN!
It's a pleasure, privilege, and honor to have you at CL!
Can't wait till next year man!
I'm already EXCITED!!

Well what i'm gonna say is this, i'm not sayen we should get a share of the title but i will tell you this we can beat anyone on this earth when we are healthy....any college team i dont care who we play we can beat them! We didnt earn the right to get there this year but if LSU lost to tenn in the sec champ game we would have been playen OSU for the title. If they lost to auburn we would be playeb OSU for the tiltle! Iknw those are IF'S and they never happened. I just know we will be back next year loaded and ready for a run at the title in 09.
Also i hate how people say "freshman"! They act like they dont know anything about the game just because they are a freshman... They are playing for a reason, everyone on the team has talent and i meen everyone, down to the last player on the roster! _________________ Club Drew: Andrew Evenstar, jOeyB7000, KB_For_Prez, Jr. Kobe

Joe welcome. They compare you to Reggie, whom I think has barely escaped the "bust" label with his pass catching ability. It seems to me Bush loves to dance too much around the line instead of hitting the hole.
I'd like people to compare you to LT. Do you consider yourself more like LT, Warrick Dunn or Reggie Bush? How would you describe your running style? and do you agree that dancing too much at the line isn't a recipe for success in the "big leagues." _________________

Borri: I think dancen to much at the line is a recipe for disaster at any level of the game. Thats one thing I need to cut back on. I dont really like to compare myself to other cause i want to be myself, have my own style but if i had to i'd say alil LT and alot of reggie! _________________ Club Drew: Andrew Evenstar, jOeyB7000, KB_For_Prez, Jr. Kobe

As a USC hater I still gotta give props to them for a very dominant game. They definitely can beat any team in the country. Nice job holding it down.
As for Joe McKnight damn good game. You were a difference maker out there and turned this game into a blowout. Wish you would have gone to SDSU though.
What happened to our clout in Louisiana??

Anyways props for the big game. Keep it up. Nothing but the best of luck next year. |

Glad to see you agree about the dancing. Keep up the hard work and I am sure you will be a first round pick. Hehe, wouldn't mind being your agent.
Also happy to see that you understand your weaknesses. I am sure alot of NFL teams will be more cautious about a "reggie bush" type of back at the next level. Start thinking about how you can elevate yourself from Reggie. _________________

hey Joe, just thought id let you know that you had more rushing yards then Reggie did his freshman year.
Next season its going to be a sight to watch for USC, we will be greatly improved on the offensive side of the ball since the recievers will be matured, and a couple of recievers will be added in Damien Williams and Travon Patterson should be coming back from injury. Whats going to happen with the RB rotation? I expect you and Stafon to get most of the carries. But you also have CJ Gable coming back, Allen Bradford. And then new players should be added to that rotation in Marc Tyler and Broderick Green. It should be a good competition next year. _________________
