I like how your national team is built but u'll need at least 3 great 3 point shooters.Yoyr last team was pathetic...they coudn't hit shots in lay up line.I saw 4 gemes from up close.

Redd is the only shooter i see,u need more than that so as to open the lane for KOBE and LEBRON.This time i want the USA to win so i hope u form the greatest team possible.

Some thoughts...

Plus u need some players who fit into the FIBA style basketball like Brand Miller.Stoudamire and Howard look great but Amare for example was lost the last time.

I remeber sitting in the 3rd row looking the drills before the games and i couldn't beleive that one of the most fun players to watch and up coming all stars(Amare) couldn't hit a shot to save his life.In the lay up line!!!
It was funny.He was trying to use the backboard but it was the only thing he was hitting.He couldn't hit the freakin' rim!!!I said to my self that this guy is a joke.No teknique at all.As soon as he loose his arhleticism he should retire.He could just jump high and that was it.Of course he had little impact in the games.

THEN he went to have a monster season and actually he made me EAT my words but what i'm trying to point out here is that NBA is completely different from the rest of the world as u know and that can cause huge problems to players with little fundamentals.I mean even Duncan, the big funtamental looked lost in the games too and he was supposed to be the best in the NBA(yea right.... after these games no way..he looked so soft mentally...so many rings but couldn't lead himself let alone others.).

May be it was the SYSTEM under they played that made them look so bad.

So i'm not sure how players with just great athletic talent can help u as MUCH AS U WANT.They don't have the open space they used to have in the NBA to play one on one.I was waiting the great plays u are describing in this topic the last time but they never came. Hope thi s time is different
because i cannot stand KOBE loosing...anywhere...
What are your thoughts?

low that was a really good thought and post, but i really think that what the USA team in 04 lacked was heart, they didn't have that. notice how they made kobe captain, he's going to yell at all those guys there. Also, great players will show up on great days, by that, i mean kobe and lebron will adjust to the rules. i thikn the soul purpose of getting a college coach to govern this team is to have special plays for special players. nba coaches are more like managers and dealing with everyday problems.
